This task is the first in a series of three that begins with Scholar Kintorom at the zone-in of The Library.

    You say, 'Hail, Scholar Kintorom'

Scholar Kintorom says 'Oh, hello there. Are you here to do some research? It's been my lifelong dream to find the answers to the origins of Norrath and the Gods we worship. I had researched everywhere in the world, but to no avail. Not too long ago though, I stumbled across this house and its wondrous [library].'

You say, 'What's up with this library?'

Scholar Kintorom says 'There any more books here than I have seen in all the libraries in my lifetime combined! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to find a library such as this. The answers I seek must be within them, so I began to conduct my [research].'

    You say, 'Your research?'

Scholar Kintorom says 'Not long after I started, the mysterious wardens here kicked me out. Why would they deny me access to these tomes? I must continue my research! While I cannot get back in to do my research, you may be able to go in my place. Would you be willing to go inside the library and [interview] the other scholars here regarding my research?'

You say, 'Of course I'd be willing to interview some other scholars'

Scholar Kintorom says 'Great! Please come back as soon as you have the results.'

You have been assigned the task 'Interview with a Scholar'.

Scholar Kintorom recently arrived in the library and began researching the origins of the godsand the creation of norrath. Shortly after though, he was kicked outfor unknown reasons. Because he cannot get back inside, he has asked you to enter the library and interview various scholars regarding his research.

Interview a preoccupied scholar 0/1 (The Library)

Interview an absorbed scholar 0/1 (The Library)

Interview an oblivious scholar 0/1 (The Library)

Interview an obsessed scholar 0/1 (The Library)

Interview a fascinated scholar 0/1 (The Library)

These mobs are found a few rooms deep into the zone. You can hail them with invisibility up. The first four scholars you hail will give you responses like this:

an oblivious scholar says 'I'm busy with a project of my own so I can't help you right now.'

an obsessed scholar says 'This is most fascinating.....hmm? Research? I don't have time for that. Go ask someone else.'

The fifth one you hail (doesn't matter which is last) will become aggravated enough with you to attack (and will also aggro nearby mobs).

a fascinated scholar says 'I'm trying to read. Why are you bothering me!'

Defeat the crazed scholar who attacked you 0/1 (The Library)

It hits for a max ~6,000.

Search the scholar for anything of interest 0/1 (The Library)

Loot a "Volume 791" from its corpse.

Bring 'Volume 791' to Scholar Kintorom 0/1 (The Library)

You were helping Scholar Kintorom with his research and delivered an interesting book to him.

Scholar Kintorom says 'This is a most interesting book you have brought me. I'll need some time study it further, but do come back soon. I suspect this may lead to something.'

For those of you like me looking for xp/mote quests, this one is 205% AA xp post-2500, so not so great. I can confirm room for advised final mob can be single pulled. I would be aware of roaming Watchers in nearby hall, I suspect you could aggro them while hailing Preoccupied Scholar. Completed in first try in about 20 minutes soloing with merc

Easy if you do it in the right order. There is a scholar in the first room you enter. Do NOT hail this one. go invis and hail all the others and then come back to the first room. I then proceeded to kill all the mobs in that room except the scholar so there were no other mobs for him to aggro after I hailed him. Hail, kill, loot.

Doing the first mob last works well. All of the other mobs in the room can be singled and the scholar will not aggro until hailed.

Doing the first room last, had almost no trouble with this mission with an 86 Wiz and 85 Mage + mercs. Happened to run into a see-invis mob along the way, which resulted in a death, but other than that it was easy.
