This quest is given by Tabure Ahendle by the arena in South Qeynos.
(Dialogues needed.) She's concerned about a map her apprentice had on him when he was shipwrecked while crossing over from Erudin. On the island in Erud's Crossing, you can kill zombie sailors who will occasionally drop a Blurred Map. Give the map to Tabure Ahendle in exchange for some coin, experience, an item and the following faction changes: + Steel Warriors + Guards of Qeynos + Knights of Truth - Corrupt Qeynos Guards - Freeport Militia Known item rewards: Cast-Iron Long Sword | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I can't find TABURE AHENDLE...after the discription of the quest she must been gound by the arena in Qeynos. Was there several times..but can't find her. Is the quest still on?
She is in the arena area, which is pretty close to the bank. She is a barbarian and stands on the same side as the gemeral merchant on the lower floor.

I spent 2 and a half hours killing the zombies by the wreck on the island in Erud's Crossing last night and never saw the map drop. The wreck is in shallow water just off the coast - the top of its mast is poking above the water so it's easy to locate. Three zombies spawn next to the hull on the island side (there are no zombies on the wreck or on the far side of the hull). They respawn every 6 minutes so I killed a lot of them. The algae covered zombie skin for acolyte quest in Riverdale dropped several times but never got the map. Maybe I just had extraordinarily bad luck?
Just got it on the second round of spawn. So it still drops.

You need to be at least amiable with her or she eats your map...

raise faction with steel warriors in Freeport and it count the same in Qeynos? I try doing these quests but the people hate me so I am trying to raise faction in Qeynos but it will not let me :(

you can raise your faction in qeynos by killing gnolls in blackburrow really easy things to kill and very ugly so it shouldnt be a problem also they drop fangs you can turn in to capt tillin in the top of the arena for exp and better standing with all of qeynos

To raise faction, if below amiable to start, try gnoll fangs to Halas quest and Clothspinner sisters. Doing Sisters quest about 10 to 15 times raised faction from apprehensive to amiable for me.

There is a faction related factor to this quest. I was with a party, a ranger, a druid, and a wizard. we all had a map, and none of us were rewarded for this quest.
That which does not kill us makes us stronger......
She gives this quest after you do the Kobold hide quest. Geuss her new rug is more important than her dead apprentice. /shrug
