Resnel #3: The Scientific Mephit

This solo task is the third of three tasks that begin with Resnel in Brell's Temple (located in the room with Brell Serilis, due north from the zone-in). Watch out for roaming see invis KOS mobs while speaking with Resnel.
You say, 'Hail, Resnel' Resnel says 'The last test resulted in a failure but I am hopeful that this new concoction will hit the spot. Would you be [willing] to try again?' You say, 'I'm willing' Resnel says 'Based on the results of your last test, I have come up with one of many theories. Now I just need to field test one before moving on to the next one. A field test requires that you use this concoction, which I have created from the Cosgrove clay and the purest water, on one of the strange creations from which you retrieved the previous samples.' You have been assigned the task 'The Scientific Mephit'. Kill 1 crazed mephit 0/1 (Lichen Creep) This task works the same as the previous task. Hand in the concoction to deranged mephits until one of them turns into a crazed mephit (the ones that reject it will attack). Then kill the crazed mephit. Return to Resnel in Brell's Temple with your findings 0/1 (Brell's Temple) You say, 'Hail, Resnel' Your task 'The Scientific Mephit' has been updated. You receive 105 platinum . You have gained an ability point! You now have 2 ability points. You gain experience!! Resnel says 'Thank you, ______. Sadly that was not the result we were hoping for, but there is always next time.
