This solo task begins with a sporali named Dorillis in the Foundation. It's located at approximately 225, 1225, -202.

You say, 'Hail, Dorillis'

Dorillis says 'I've a lot of work to do, and little time. What can I [help] you with? Unless you know anything about [farming].'

You say, 'How about I help you?'

Dorillis says 'So, you're the one that's been helping Trullica? I could use your help with some [things] if you have some time.'

You say, 'What things?'

Dorillis says 'Trullica believes there may be something [wrong] with the land here. The harvest is producing less and less each season. Not that I have noticed myself, but Trullica says it is so, so it is so. . .'

You say, 'What's wrong?'

Dorillis says 'I had some seeds that I sent to someone to take a look. Balinus is his name. He and Trullica were friends before he came to live here. I have not heard from him though. Can you go to [Corathus] Creep to find out if his examination has found anything?'

You say, 'I'll go to Corathus Creep'

Dorillis says 'Thank you. If Balinus has finished examining the seeds, return to me with whatever information he has.'

You have been assigned the task 'Harvest of Sorrow'.

Go to Corathus Creep and talk to Balinus 0/1 (Corathus Creep)

Balinus is a sporali found in the northeastern part of Corathus Creep (location 103, 395, -47).

You say, 'Hail, Balinus'

Your task 'Harvest of Sorrow' has been updated.

Balinus says 'You look lost. I know what someone looks like when they're [lost] and it just so happens that that is what you look like.'

You say, 'I'm not lost...'

Balinus says 'I don't recall anyone named [Dorillis]. You sure you got the right place? Did I mention how lost you look?'

You say, 'You're telling me you don't know Dorillis?'

Balinus says 'Ah, the one who works with Trullica! Why didn't you say so?! I have not seen that overgrown fungi in. . . Well, forever! What can I [do] for you then? A friend of Trullica is a friend of mine!'

You say, 'Here's what you can do...'

Balinus says 'Seeds? I do not know anything about. . . Oh, the seeds! Yes, yes! I used some of the best soil that I had available, and there were no problems. I do not think it is a problem with the seeds.'

Return to Dorillis 0/1 (The Foundation)

Return to Dorillis and hail it:

You say, 'Hail, Dorillis'

Your task 'Harvest of Sorrow' has been updated.

Dorillis says 'You're back! What did [Balinus] have to say?'

You say, 'Balinus had a few things to say...'

Dorillis says 'Hmm. . . Nothing wrong with the seed? But that would mean that there has to be something wrong with the clay then. Until just this moment, it never occurred to me that there could BE such a thing as 'bad' Clay of Cosgrove. Something must be happening to the clay after leaving the pits! Whether it is intentional or not, I am uncertain. But one of the workers at the processing station must be doing something to the clay. You need to find out who it is and what they are doing!'

Investigate how the clay is processed 0/1 (The Foundation)

Head south to the vicinity of -290, 1300, -198 (the clay production area with Foreman Gribblebitz and company). Hang around here, walk around a bit for a few minutes until this step updates.

Speak with Dorillis 0/1 (The Foundation)

You say, 'Hail, Dorillis'

Your task 'Harvest of Sorrow' has been updated.

Dorillis says 'You found what?! Oh my! How is it possible that a worker could do such a thing? They live to complete their work, and for the most part nobody in the Underfoot even holds a concept of possession, so stealing isn't even a word they would understand. Thank you for your help. While I am pleased that those caught stealing will be dealt with, my concerns are not completely relieved. But I will have to think on this. Thanks again.'
