This raid is initiated in Korafax by clicking on the door of Discord Tower. You must have at least 18 players in your raid to do so.

The flag for this zone is a "Tower Key", which results from each of the three Korafax raid events. There are no other pre-requisites to participate in the raid.

See this Seeds of Destruction wiki article for progression information.

Armor

See this wiki article for a guide to using the armor essences found here.

Events

There are seven events in this expedition (links point to event details and loot):

Event #1: Mindblight (involving an insanity mob called "The Mindblight")

Event #2: Trophy Room (involving several Discord "Trophy" mobs)

Event #3: Stasis (involving the Pixtt Curator of Discord)

Event #4: Scrying (involving four Ikaav scryers)

Event #5: Sacrifice (involving a ritual on the Riftseekers' King and Queen)

Event #5.5: A mini event, Elite Tower Guards (involving a pair of nekhons outside the door to Overlord Muram)

Event #6: Overlord Muram (involving several familiar faces - Zun`Muram Volkana, Arch Magus Vangl, and a few others)

Event #7: Edge of Destruction (involving Lord Brekt, the Rider of Discord)

Trash Mobs

The good news: Trash mobs are linked to events. They share lockouts.

The bad news: Trash mobs in this zone are considerably rougher than what you'd find in your typical raid zone. They hit for ~12,000 and almost all enrage. Other abilities depend on their race:

Mastruqs

These have a rear AE that also breaks mez on any mobs it hits:

Backstabber's Regret: Directional 100', Chromatic (-650)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 10000

Ukuns

You'll only encounter two of these per clear. These proc a DoT on their target and have a natural mitigation to melee damage (melee will do around 25% less damage than normal).

Infected Scratches: Single Target, Disease (-650)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 5000
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 2000 to 4000 (random) per tick
3: Increase Disease Counter by 12

Ferans

These cast an AE mana-to-life tap called "Feran's Balm" on all those around it.

Nocs

These frequently AE rampage for full damage.

Aneuks

These cast a snare and single-target charm:

Chains of Destruction: Single Target, Magic (-650)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 3000 per tick
2: Decrease Movement by 70%
3: Increase corruption counter by 4

Touch of the Mindshear: Single Target, Magic (-550)
1: Charm up to level 100
2: Increase Attack Speed by 70%

Kyvs

These cast a blind DD on their targets:

Blinding Shot: Single Target, Magic (-650)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 12000
2: Blindness(1)

Ra`Tuks

These cast "Cranium Cleave" on their target:

Cranium Cleave: Single Target, Magic (-550)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 8000
2: Decrease Movement by 100%
3: Decrease Attack Speed by 60%

...As well as a spell called "Healer's Bane". Curing this results in a loss of 15,000 mana from the target.

Discordlings

These AE "Rebounding Spikes" (15k) upon its death; may 'rebound' off players and hit multiple times:

Rebounding Spikes: PB AE 50', Magic (-650)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 15000

Ikaavs

These have an AE mana/hp drain and a mez:

Envenomed Mana: Area - PC Only 100', Poison (-600)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 3500 per tick
2: Decrease Mana by 2500 per tick
3: Increase Poison Counter by 12

Ikaav Entrancement: Single Target, Magic (-625)
1: Mesmerize(2)

Ixts

These cast two damage spells:

Crushing Halberd: Directional 40', Unresistable (-1000)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 10000

Ixt Halberd Impale: Single Target, Magic (-650)
1: Inhibit Melee Attacks by(75%)
2: Skill Damage Taken(30)
3: Decrease Movement by 90%
4: Decrease All Skills Damage Modifier by 50%
5: Decrease Hitpoints by 2500 per tick
6: Unknown #387 (100/17402/0)
7: Increase Curse Counter by 12

Curing "Ixt Halberd Impale" will result in a DT-equivalent DoT spell on yourself.

Vitriks

These cast the usual single-target DoT:

Grievous Wound: Single Target, Unresistable (-1000)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 5000 per tick
2: Decrease AC by 240

...As well as a directional AE DD + knockback + snare (right and left sides).

Lightning Warriors

Finally, the lightning towerguards. These AE a DD+slow spell:

Lightning Overload: PB AE 40', Magic (-600)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 5500
2: Decrease Attack Speed by 50%

...And have an emote-based / line-of-sight-based AE for 50,000 (unshielded) which goes as follows:

[0:00] Static starts to gather around the lightning towerguard.

[0:05] The static charge around the lightning towerguard looks extraordinarily dangerous.

[0:10] The static charge releases in a huge burst of energy.

At the 10 second mark from its original emote, it AEs "Charge Imbalance":

Charge Imbalance: PB AE 300', Magic (-650)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 50000
2: Stun(2.00 sec)

This is avoidable by having people in the raid follow emotes similar to this:

You feel drawn to the south.

(Or, you can just duck out of sight every time you see the five-second warning.)

Does everyone in the raid need a Key? Or just the person that gets the event?

Event 5 is followed by a pair of "a nekhon elite towerguard". When these die a chest with two augs dropped. The first chest dropped a brightly pulsating chronal shear and Curator's Treasure.
Only one of the two is active at any time, every ten secs or so one becomes inactive and the other becomes active. One has a nasty aura that will kill you fast.
