This task begins with Noble Yemall the Arcane in the Old Bloodfields (he is located in one of the rooms near the City of Dranik entrance).
You say, 'Hail, Noble Yemall the Arcane' Noble Yemall the Arcane says 'Greetings _____. I'm pleased that you chose to seek me out. I was hoping you could help me with a small [project] I have been working on.' You say, 'A Project?' Noble Yemall the Arcane says 'When the muramites first began to invade Kuua, we began discovering these strange orbs on the corpses of some of their soldiers. At first we had no idea what they were or what purpose they served. While we're still trying to determine why the muramites would be carrying them, we quickly [discovered] what they are.' You say, 'Discovered?' Noble Yemall the Arcane says 'These orbs contain memories from the Plane of Discord. Our hope has been to use the memories to expose weaknesses or the plans of the muramite forces, but until recently we had no way of viewing the memories stored inside the orbs. Unfortunately, in the process of finding a way to view these memories, we were forced to destroy many of the orbs. Now we have enough to prove our success at viewing the memories but too few to provide enough information to be useful to our efforts. We need someone to [gather] more of these orbs for us to study.' You say, 'I'll gather some orbs' Noble Yemall the Arcane says 'I had hoped you would agree to help. You can find the orbs on any of the muramites, though not all of them carry one. Bring me any that you find and we'll see if they contain anything helpful.' You have been assigned the task 'Lost Memories'. Noble Yemall has discovered a method of viewing memories inside the memory orbs carried by the muramites. His hope is to use these memories to find and exploit any weaknesses in the muramite armies. Collect 4 memory orbs from the muramite forces 0/4 (Old Bloodfields) Memory Orbs are dropped randomly by muramite mobs throughout the Old Bloodfields. These items are NOT pre-lootable. Bring the memory orbs to Noble Yemall 0/4 (Old Bloodfields) These orbs should contain information that will prove critical to the dragorn resistance. The lives of many dragorn will be saved thanks to your efforts. Your faction standing with Herald Argoth got better. only get 12% aa at 95 with 7k aa. not much at all -)
i killed plenty mobs in the north without a single memory orb dropping until i camped in the south west corner. 6 mobs - 4 memory orbs.

Tried to get this task today at amiable faction, and Yemall says that he doesn't have anything for someone of my experience.
You might be too low of a level to get the task, since Yemall gave this to me at dubious.
Another of those items that cannot be pre-looted <sigh>
But the Quest is given out at Dubious and Noble Yemall the Arcane can be got to easily with INVIS >> Head North to City of Drannik Zone line he is in cave on the right.
