This task begins with Thanuel Mergon in Bloody Kithicor. (location? - on the Army of Light side)
You say, 'Hail, Thanuel Mergon' Thanuel Mergon says 'I have an important quest for you. We're just starting to recover from the onslaught of the Dark Elf army that pushed our forces out of the Commonlands. We [assume] horrible things are happening to our kin who are still there, as well as any of our trapped soldiers whose regiments were cut off from our line of retreat.' You say, 'I'd assume' Thanuel Mergon says 'We assume we know what's happening in the Commonlands, the same kinds of atrocities that happen to any land overrun by Dark Elves. We must try to be certain, however, especially when it comes to locating the additional Dark Elf regiments which are held in reserve. I'll also need someone to pass word to any refugees and surviving soldiers that the Army of Light survives, and has not forgotten their [plight].' You say, 'Plight?' Thanuel Mergon says 'Are you willing to [scout] the Commonlands for us?' You say, 'I'll scout' Thanuel Mergon says 'Good. Talk to Supplymaster Kibrek. He was the last one out of the Commonlands, he'll know which Dark Elf regiments are still lingering there.' You have been assigned the task 'Scouting the Commonlands'. Thanuel has entrusted you with an important task, important both for its martial and moral value. Providing an accurate reconnaissance of the enemy will save lives. Rescuing prisoners will certainly raise morale. Look for Dallik's Blackhearts regiment, the Nightblade Halberdiers regiment, and the Painstorm regiment. I lost my wagon and horses to those villains, and nearly lost me life as well! Good luck to ya. Oh, and I'd keep a special eye out for Sil Silverstar; she's Diennic Lightheart's sweetheart, and he'd sure like to know if she's okay or not. She might be in a refugee camp if she's still alive.' There are known to be refugees hiding in the tunnel to the southeast. Find them. My regiment of Halflings didn't fare well in the fight against the Army of Obliteration, though we killed ten times our weight in Dark Elves and Ogres. I've heard that Rivervale was attacked. Please tell me my family is okay! Well, as long as the Army of Light still fights, there is hope of pushing the Dark Elves out of these lands. I must remain here to defend the refugees, but please tell Mergon that all is as well as could be expected.' The Dark Elf forces there are not so numerous, and just as worn out as we are. Perhaps we may yet prevail somehow.' I've tried many times to get this quest again. Unable to get it again.
I am having the same problem. i am Kindly and he still wont give it to me. this is the last quest i need to get the blood aug. have you been able to resolve it?
