This is a shared task (1-6 players) and begins with Jink, a High Elf at the zone-in of Toskirakk.

    You say, 'Hail, Jink'

Jink says, 'I need your help in a matter of gravest concern to us slaves. While we serve these ogres in miserable bondage, someday we plan to escape from this wretched servitude and return to our homes. Many of us who work towards the day when a slave revolt can take place would get a much-needed morale boost if we can learn where our precious personal items and family members were taken when they were captured. The Rallosians usually keep very clear records of their [conquests], and who took what from whom, and to whom it was given.'

    You say, 'What conquests?'

Jink says, 'Yes, many of us can do little but weep and cower and grovel for our masters, not knowing what has become of our families and our irreplaceable possessions. If we could get our hands on the city quartermaster's [hornbook], that would bring closure to many of us, and allow us to focus more on our plans for a slave revolt.'

    You say, 'What hornbook?'

Jink says, 'Yes, it is one of the most important record-books in the city and its original copy is always in the keeping of the quartermaster. You must ask Muskorr Agitarr in the main plaza for help in finding it. Will you [do] this for us?'

You say, 'I will do this'

You receive the task, 'Streets of Justice'

Jink wants you to help him locate a book called the Hornbook of Toskirakk. It has records of the slaves and their disposition, along with notes about personal possessions and their dispersal among the citizens. Jink hopes to raise the morale of his people by locating some lost relatives and precious items.

Speak with Muskorr Agitarr in the great plaza. He has proven willing to help the refugees in the past.

Speak with Muskorr Agitarr 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Muskorr Agitarr is found in the giant circle in the middle of the zone, which looks like a type of altar.

Explore the lair of the Shivstalker thieves 0/1 (Toskirakk)

The Shivstalker thieves are found south of where you meet Muskorr Agitarr.

Kill 5 Shivstalker thieves 0/5 (Toskirakk)

The Shivstalker thieves DO NOT summon, are snarable/rootable, estimated 200k hp, and hit very hard (up to 4,200 with backstabs for 8k+).

    Kill Basta Shivstalker 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Like the thieves, he does not summon, snarable/rootable, has ~550k hp, and can hit for a max 6,500 (backstabs up to 15,000).

Deliver 1 Basta Shivstalker's Head to Muskorr Agitarr 0/1 (Toskirakk)

As it is just a hand-in, Basta's head can be pre-looted.

    Kill Kuddor Gakk 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Max hit ~3,600 damage, estimated 250k hp, snarable/rootable, doesn't summon.

Loot 1 Hornbook of Toskirakk from Kuddor Gakk 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Note this item CANNOT be pre-looted.

Deliver 1 Hornbook of Toskirrak to Jink 0/1 (Toskirakk)

Jink says, 'You found the Hornbook of Toskirrak! This contains all the information on the movements and fates of our captive kinsmen and what was done with our possessions! many minds can be put to rest with this tome, thank you so much!'

This is the first task I attempted in Tosk. I did this with just me (level 82 SK 1550 AA), my pet and my apprentice merc cleric. The regular shivstalkers were not much of a problem, but the the named shivstalker and the other guy were pretty tough. A few times I went below 15 pct health, so a lucky round would have finished me. If you are an SK, having all your nuke/tap/TotC/SA AA maxed will definitely help. I am not sure my cleric could have kept up without all the 15K tap procs that I saw in the battle spam.

Edit: After I posted i finally got around to parsing the fight. Here's the results -

Mob HP - 405K (grr..had to edit again...i put the dmg i took the first time instead of the mob's total hp)
    Mob DPS - 1866
    Max Hit - 5244
    Avg Hit - 2086

I couldn't get the explore update no matter what I did. I was about to give up when I remembered another explore task update I once had to levitate for due to max shrunk. I levitated and went back to the Shivstalker lair and it updated immediately. So if you've having trouble with the explore point, try levy.

Almost 11 years later and this still worked for me, though i didnt have levi, jumping around worked for the explore update.

    40 chronos from a taskadd.
Just in case any necros are looking at this and wondering -
    # May 19 2009 at 2:49 PM Rating: Decent
soloable for a 77 necro - did it today for the first time - current(ish) gear and spells and only like 140 aas - so totally doable.
    chrono reward

Ya really need to change the chronobine reward from a set number to "variable" because this can be a pretty rewarding task based on the short time required to complete it. Especially if you /taskadd.

This is a task, 6hr timer & all. you can /taskadd players. So just like any other task in the game, your reward varies based on how popular it is on your server. The last two days I've done this I've gotten 190 chrono's and 130 chronos respectively.
