    This is the first of five group tasks from Jaled`Dar (each of which are required for Void progression). In order to request the group tasks you must have completed Jaled`Dar's two shared tasks, "Lost and Found" and "Parley with Ganak", and have completed the pre-requisites for those.

    You say, 'Hail, Jaled`Dar'

    Jaled`Dar says 'Why do you bother me small one? I have enough [problems] to deal with here without your intrusions.'

    You say, 'Problems?'

    Jaled`Dar says 'You have proven a surprising ally. I would not have expected you to be so willing nor so capable. My need for your assistance is not over. The threat has not been defeated, and the Iksar still hold formidable power. Is your assistance [still available] to us?'

    You say, 'I am still available'

    Jaled`Dar says 'Very well. The tasks we ask of you now will not be easy. If you have allies you will likely find them most useful.'

    A task window pops up. Choose 'Audience with the Warmaster'.

    You have been assigned the task 'Audience with the Warmaster'.

    Warmaster Kurn is a ruthless military leader. He is known for taking a particular relish in the suffering of those who fall under his conquering sword, and respects strength in arms in friends and foes alike. With this in mind, the surest way to open a diplomatic dialogue with the Warmaster is to demonstrate strength and conviction the only way he knows how - through battle.

    Enter Kurn's Tower 0/1 (Field of Scale)

    The zone-in is the same entrance as non-instanced Kurn.

    Seek an audience with Kurn by any means necessary 0/1 (Kurn's Tower)

    This takes place in the upper floors of the tower. You'll find two sets of two mobs: "Thessila`s Runemaster" and "Thessila`s Blademaster". They don't have any special abilities, nor do they have any more hps than typical trash mobs. The Blademasters enrage.

    After killing the fourth of these mobs:

    Thessila the Dark shouts 'Searching for Kurn, are we? Hoping to have a conversation with the Warmaster? You fools are all the same!'

    Thessila the Dark shouts 'Well, you are too late. The Warmaster is mine, now! The seeds have been planted. Now that we have given the Iksar the tools to destroy their feeble dragon rivals, nothing can stand in their way. They will seize control of this entire pathetic continent, and Kurn's lust for torture and battle will scorch the land.'

    Thessila the Dark shouts 'The Warmaster's bloodthirst will grow beyond Ganak's control. He will accept our offer to make the Iksar armies the newest legion of the forces of Discord, and he will ride at the forefront of the most powerful horde ever conceived! All of this has been foreseen. There is nothing you can do to stop it!'

    Kill Thessila the Dark 0/1 (Kurn's Tower)

    Thessila the Dark can be found on the top floor of the tower.

    Thessila the Dark grins mercilessly and begins to channel dark energies.

    Thessila flurries and single-target rampages. She does NOT summon and is rootable/snareable. Midway through the fight she turns into a Discord Vitrik and begins casting "Vitrik Screech".

    A disguised agent of Discord has set in motion plans to manipulate the outcome of the battle between the Ring of Scale and the Sebilisian Empire. Their plans must be disrupted at all costs.

    Thessila the Dark DOESN'T summon. Ans as she can be snared/rooted, a necro can easily kill her ( with some heal because of her AE spell )

    Did this mission today, 85SK, 82SHM a cleric merc and a dps melee merc.

    Killed a mob in a small room near the first two 'masters; then pulled and killed both masters in the same room. then repeated the same on the other side (though I had a large golem thing as well on this side). Mods don't hit too hard, I tanked both at a time each time.

    Thesslia can be snared, so was an easy split / pull for the SK down into the same little room we killed the 'masters in.

    She AE'd 2 maybe 3 times and was dead. Fairly easy overall; clearing might have made for easier pulls, but would have taken longer overal.

    Biggest key by far was to clear the top level before spawning Thessila, thanks for that tip previous poster!

    We did it with an 85 druid, 85 war (4400ac, 32khp, CS/CA at 27), 81 rogue, 78 druid, and two cleric mercs.

    We mostly fought 2 mobs at a time with our 85 war tanking (T3 group gear mostly, 1500aa) and 2 cleric mercs plus a druid occasionally healing when the mercs got lazy. Aggro range is not too huge so we needed no tricks, no FD puller, no paci, just fought a couple at a time (might have fought 3 at one point). Anyway if you clear the top Thessila is not that hard - she AE nuked us only three times during the fight so we had time to heal between AE. By the way even though it says it is a PBAE the range is large enough that we couldn't avoid it unless maybe we healed from the floor below or something (didn't try that). But all survived including our 78 druid with lesser gear.

    Was looking to get a couple items off of Bite, the named, in this instanced but I needed the progression also. Bite never did spawn so I completed the mission and went back to request the mission again, but it wasn't an option. Just the next quest in the progression came up.

    Yes, you need to complete the series before you can select the Bite mission again.

    Did this today with me 84 war and me boxed sham and mage 2 cleric mercs and tank merc. There is a SI mob here isn't listed name is a Venal Defiler that was wipe number one. Heh. Follow instrusctions how to get up there but cleared stairways on my way up. Got to the floor with the runemaster/blademaster. Lucked out and got the first two just the both of them alone. cleared that side of level pretty easy then decided to clear top. I have no clue what people saying 2 mobs up there maybe I have bad luck had 10 mobs up top. 4 sets of 2 and 2 roamers in that little room. So tried to coth pull em but coth works at dissolving aggro there 50% of the time. think because mobs sense the healing through the roof or some crap idk but they continue to come to group. Finally got top clear the other rune/blade had a stone sentinel and 2 other mobs almost touching them lol so had to split that group was VP them while i burned one down then wipe eventually then do next pull etc till all done.
    I would recommend a puller for sure.

    Runemasters and Blademasters are both immune to runspeed changes and summon. Trash will assist them and they will assist trash.

    Runemasters & Blademasters: 190k HP
    Thessila the Dark: 410k HP Unstunnable

    Best to clear top floor before popping named and pulls can be awkward in the small spaces for the masters

    To be clear, Thessila the Dark does not see through the Iksar illusion (she is apprehensive) and does not see invis. Well, she didn't for us anyways.

    Information on instance:

    Very straight forward task. Move to the 2nd to last floor from the top. My group made a camp in one of the side cubbies. We killed 3 of the 4 mobs needed for the quest. Before killing the 4th mob, our group moved upstairs and cleared the room out. Mobs up top vary depending on the instance. (One time we had to clear 2 mobs, the next time we had to clear 5). After clearing the top, and meditating up to full, we went back down one floor and cleared the final Blademaster or Runemaster, then Thessila the Dark spawned in the room above us. Thessila is a very easy mob. At about 60% or so she will morph and start casting a 9000 hp ae along with a 3 second stun. If you have more than 550 magic resist, it is very resistable. The ae isn't very often, I think she may only have casted it twice during the whole fight. As long as you have a decently geared tank with good aa's you should be fine.

    I was able to request lost and found withou drask scourge, but with 2 sarnak mission with the rest of that list.
    Pre-req for group progression missions

    I had completed:
    - "Raising Cabilis"
    - one of the "Sarnak Recovery" missions (the 4 step mission to find Kurn)
    - and "Drake Scourge"

    Also, I had completed the "grand illusion" iksar illusion mask clickie.

    Jaled'Dar still would not talk.

    I then did another "sarnak Recovery" mission (killing the 4 sokokar hatchlings)

    I am now offered the Lost and Found quest.

    According to Raspers, "Lost and found" is a pre-req for "parlay with Ganak", and parlay is a pre-req for "audience with the warmaster".

    Some say the could not get any tasks with Jaled until they completed all 3 missions. So i may be that you need one particular mission (perhaps the one with the hatchlings) and you also need to do the lost and found and parlay missions to get the group missions from Jaled.

    I am about to start the lost and found... i will update when i can confirm.

    Hi,

    In order to be able to request Parley With Ganak, my wife and i had to do these tasks: (We were ally at the this time)

    - Grand Illusion
    - Drake Scourge
    - 2 of 3 Sarnak recovery missions (need correct sealed message to request)
    - Raising Cabilis
    - Lost and Found

    I have read people doing slightly different missions to get the Parley task.
    Since you now can request Lost and found, im sure you will be able to request Parley with Ganak after finishing that.

    We just boxed Parley With Ganak yesterday, so we can finally move on to the actual progression missions now.

    The named will cast an AE on pull, so hold pets. She was not a very tough mob. We had no mez, the real pain was getting her solo.

    The instance did not repop. There are fewer mobs in the instance then in the live zone.

    Go up about three or four levels and you find Thessila's four friends. Thessila is one level above them.

    This is one of those events that the grand iksar illusion is very helpful to be wearing. The agro range on that SI named was on the larger side.
