 This is a shared task which begins with Jaled`Dar in the Field of Scale. He is found among the dragons due south of the Void portal.

In order to get Jaled`Dar to speak with you, you have to complete four out of the following eight tasks (task details are linked on the left, under "Related Quests"):

- "Drake Scourge"
- "Food Supplies"
- "Grand Illusion"
- "Raising Cabilis"
- "Sarnak Recovery (Sokokar)"
- "Sarnak Recovery (Burynai)"
- "Sarnak Recovery (Kurn)"
- "Supplies"


Once started, you will have only 15 minutes to complete this task.

You say, 'Hail, Jaled`Dar'

Jaled`Dar says 'Why do you bother me small one? I have enough [problems] to deal with here without your intrusions.'

You say, 'What problems?'

Jaled`Dar says "What problems? Do you not see the iksar surrounding us here? That alone should cause enough concern, but now one of my kin has not returned from a simple [patrol] of the northern regions.'

You say, 'A simple patrol?'

Jaled`Dar says 'Yes. I sent Krizlek to investigate the build-up of forces in the north near the tower. He has not returned, and was last seen some distance north of the tower, well off his assigned patrol route. I need someone to go looking for him, but with the Sebilisian army ready to strike I fear I cannot spare anyone to [investigate].'

You say, 'I will investigate'

You have been assigned the task 'Lost and Found'.

Jaled`Dar says 'Perhaps you will prove useful to me after all. Find Krizlek, and tell him to report to me immediately. I neeed to know what we are facing to the north. This is of vital importance, _____. Do not delay!

If you talk to him again, he will grow impatient. This is because only one group at a time can do this task:

Jaled'Dar says 'I already sent another of your kind in search of Krizlek, but I must admit to having little faith in his ability to complete the task. Should he fail, I will need to find another. Return to me if you believe to be capable.'


Search for Krizlek 0/1 (Field of Scale)

This step updates at the emerald dragon corpse (northeast part of the zone, location 1861, 506).

Follow the trail of Battle 0/1 (Field of Scale)

This step updates at the grey dragon corpse at location 2277, 271.

Continue searching for Krizlek 0/1 (Field of Scale)

This updates at 2332, -170.

Destroy the Sebilisian attackers 0/3 (Field of scale)

Kill 3 sebilisian dragonhunters / trackers in the northeast part of the zone. They cannot be rooted or snared, and if you die they will camp your corpse.

Loot one of the odd weapons used by the Sebilisian attack force 0/1 (Field of Scale)

Loot 1 Darkblade longsword from the dragon hunters.

Deliver the strange weapon to Jaled'Dar and inform him of Krizlek's fall 0/1 (Field of Scale)

Jaled'Dar recoils in pain as you hand him teh strange blade. What treachery is this? THe metal is infused with some magic I've not seen before. My skin feels aflame from its mere presence, yet you say you felt nothing from it's touch?

Your task 'Lost and Found' has been updated.

Jaled'Dar's face turns pale as he realizes what these weapons could mean for dragonkind. He orders you to tell no one about them for fear it may spread panic and fear within his assembled armies.

Just completed this as an 89/1400 Wizard + J5 tank merc and a 76/nada Bard + A5 cleric merc. The bard was really just along for the ride and his merc - I didn't use him for much. Both have the Iksar illusion mask so are non-KOS in zone.

Make sure your map is marked for the corpses. Grab task from Jaled'Dar. With selo's it's still about a 45 second run from the dragon to get all the task updates.

Once the dragonhunters spawned I tried to split them with the bard. I'm sure it can be done if you know what you're doing as a bard - I don't - but I had no luck. Finally decided to just deal with all three at once. Used all my damage discs on my Wizard, and just burned them all down. Guessing they have around 200-250K HP each.

Ran back, again with selo's. Finished with about 7 minutes to spare.
