Nedsin Tabbels is located on the west side of the Korascian Warrens, in the middle of an opening with several wandering clay golems and crystalline hulks.

You say, 'Hail, Nedsin Tabbels'

Nedsin Tabbels looks around warily and leans closer. 'Keep your voice down. These [creatures] are everywhere!'

You say, 'The creatures?'

Nedsin Tabbels says 'The earth beings. They see me, but they do not seem to attack as long as I stay here in this crevice. My friends must have found similar places to hide after the [battle].'

You say, 'What battle?'

Nedsin Tabbels says 'It was terrible. These frogs - the Rallosians called them Korascians - attacked us constantly from the moment we entered this place. The army was trying to direct their forces somewhere else, so they gave us - us! - weapons and sent us in to [attack].'

You say, 'Attack?'

Nedsin Tabbels says 'We were absolutely destroyed. Routed. Most of us hadn't even held a weapon before, and we haven't been fed well. Our first wave was crushed within seconds. The [rest] of us ran for our lives.'

You say, 'The rest of you?'

Nedsin Tabbels says 'Those who weren't caught from behind made it into this area, with the earth beings. They attacked anyone who got too close, but I've found they leave me be if I keep my distance. I just wonder if the [others] had the chance to discover that.'

You say, 'Others?'

Nedsin Tabbels says 'There were several of us here. I haven't seen anyone else in some time, though. We all agreed to leave marks if we were separated. Will you [help] me find evidence of them?'

You say, 'I will help'

Nedsin Tabbels says 'I thank you for your assistance, but don't go beyond those crystals to the east. Those are very much like the ones we saw at the entrance to the Korascians' lair. No one would be able to pass them and live.'

You have been assigned the task 'Find Your Allies'.

Nedsin Tabbels has lost contact with the rest of his allies after a fierce battle. He and other humanoid slaves were originally armed by Rallosian slavers during the confusion of the Korascian Frog attacks and sent deep into their warren in a futile attempt to slaughter them all. The other slaves were either killed or captured, and Tabbels can't leave without knowing their fate, nor is he strong enough to attempt rescue by himself.

Collect 1 Empty Stone Vial 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

This vial appears to have held some sort of potion, but it is cracked badly. Maybe Nedsin will recognize this.

Collect 1 Crushed Helmet 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

This helm is crushed nearly beyond recognition. Nedsin might be able to tell you of its origins.

Collect 1 Empty Water Urn 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

This urn is empty, but clean. It looks as though it was placed deliberately. This is the sort of thing Nedsin was looking for.

The above three items are groundspawns in the same area as Nedsin. They are sort of out of the way, behind rocks, against the stone boundaries of the cavern:

Nedsin Tabbels says 'This vial belonged to my friend Sematil. He said it would heal him if he were ever badly injured, but it looks like it was crushed before he could use it...'

Deliver 1 Crushed Helmet to Nedsin Tabbels 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

Nedsin Tabbels says 'Oh... oh no. Aarax was issued this helm just before the battle. I don't think it offered him the protection he needed.'

Deliver 1 Empty Water Urn to Nedsin Tabbels 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

Nedsin Tabbels says 'This looks like the urn that Ylatra had stolen to keep water for us all. I don't know how many lives it saved. She must have had a good reason to leave it behind, I hope.'

Explore the Crystal Gateway 0/1 (Korascian Warrens)

Venture where he was afraid to go -- find the crystal gate he speaks of. It is to the east and north.

The update location is exactly as in the task description - due east from Nedsin and north through that passage. As Ylatra the Vassal comes into view, your task will update.

As you pass between the crystals, you notice a mark like the one Nedsin showed you, with an arrow pointing northwards.

You say, 'Hail, Ylatra the Vassal'

Nedsin may be too afraid to move, but that does not appear to be the case with Ylatra. She appears to know more about the events in the Warrens.

Ylatra the Vassal says 'Ylatra regards you coolly. 'That urn wasn't the only dead weight I left behind in those caves.''
