This is a shared task and begins with Severilous in the Field of Scale.
You say, 'Hail, Severilous' Severilous says 'What do you want, worthless beast? If you have anything to [offer] us other than the meat on your bones, you'd best tell me about it now.' You say, 'I have something to offer' Severilous says 'Hah! You would offer your help to us! You should tell that to Trakanon. He has a great sense of humor. He might even laugh once before eating you. Be gone, worthless wretch. Go [kill some] of those fool Iksar if you would be of use to me. Then perhaps I will use your flesh to [feed] my racnar. You say, 'I'll kill some of them' You have been assigned the task 'Drake Scourge' Severilous has asked you to put an end to, or at least a crimp in, the Iksar attempts to torture his kind. The pain they have caused his kin is terrible, and the draconic need for revenge is great. Bring back four scourge tails from the Kaesora library as proof of Severilous' vengeance being quenched, and see that the skull of one of their warlocks or defilers is returned as well. Deliver 4 Iksar Scourge Tails to Severilous 0/4 (Field of Scale) Deliver 1 Darkened Drake Skull to Severilous 0/1 (Field of Scale) The items in the above-two steps can be pre-looted. The Scourge tails drop from "an Imperial scourge", and are pretty common, while the Darkened Drake Skull is a little more rare. It drops off "a corrupt _____" iksar mobs (robed necromancers): a corrupt warlock, a corrupt heretic, a corrupt defiler. Turn those in to open up the next step: Find the necromancer responsible for cursing the skull 0/1 (Kaesora Library) You receive the skull back. This part of the task may be bugged (the skull offers no help in determining which mob to kill). You'll need to kill "a corrupt _____" mobs until one emotes upon its death: You feel the curse on the skull drain away as the iksar necromancer dies. Deliver 1 Darkened Drake Skull to Severilous 0/1 (Field of Scale) Reward: A number of Chronobines (varies) Faction with Tynoc, Herald of Scale Experience (somewhere around 3-4% reg. xp at level 81) Iksar Left Foot Bones | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I have a usuall grp i do this task with and we get around 2 aa or apx 5% normal xp and 360+ chro...just finished again and gor 49 chro and less then 1% normal xp.
I guess we are done doing this task...

With so many ways to die, why choose just one?
a lot of tasks give worse rewards the more often they are completed in game to prevent a single one being done a bunch of times in a row for the rewards

when I had to go find the necromancer, I went to southwest corner and killed 2 warlocks to no effect, then i killed the pathing heretic, and update. hope this helps

My friend has 1300 AA and said he got about 2 full AA
I had 650 AA at the time, and got bout 3.5 AA (though I didnt mark it exactly)
Good reward for fairly easy quest w/ a 4 hour retask timer.

some suggestions:
say "special" to Tynoc before doing any task anywhere in SoD, always worth seeing if that day's bonus task will double your rewards
you can complete the entire task without leaving the zone fairly quickly at the "stage" camp, with the bonus of having several named nearby for loot/essences
kill scourges for the 4 tails, kill corrupt types for skull, then keep killing corrupt types; eventually you'll see another update that won't appear yet on list
return to sev, hand tails in, hand skull in, Sev returns skull, hand skull in again, done
right at 300 chronos for completion

from zone in if u head east at the fork and run to the round room have levi on and drop down to the very bottom of the pit in center of the room take the tunnel to north that least east to a big room in this room and the two rooms off to the east of this room i found 5 scourge spread out thru the part from where the water starts. if u set up on the ramp leading down to the water u can start clearing there seems to be safe area not seen any roamers comning thru while i was checking out stuff in the area for group to go back later for our loots. gl if u doing this mission. maybe more spawn when we start killing will post if see more spawns if we have to kill more than 5 of these.

I wasn't able to get this task until I clicked off my Iksar illusion.
Worked for me today with my iksar illusion on /shrug

My task updated after I killed...
a corrupt warlock
the emote i got for the win was...
You feel the curse on the skull drain away as the iksar necromancer dies.
It was the first mob I killed once I came back into zone... so I guess I got lucky lol.

Okay the full steps are :
Deliver 4 Iksar Scourge Tail to Severilous (he will take these)
Deliver 1 Darkened Drake Skull to Severilous (he will return it to you and update task)

Then moved to arena, started farming tails, then another skull dropped of higher trash as it died a task update happened, and one of the two ??? lines became a double of turn in skull
Due to lore could not loot second skull and when later on 4 tails and 1 skull weere turned in (still one line was ???) we got mission completed,
we had 2 turn in 1 skull lines, the skull was turned in, given back to player by sev then turned in a second time.
This is a weird task.
Also timer is unlimited the task is noted as group but you can get it solo.

Once you obtain the mission (it appears as a group mission), the first two parts of task are:
