This task is the third in a series and begins with Vahna, Dryad of Direwind, who may be found at -1280, +20. Upon completion of the previous task:
You say, 'Direwind?' Vahna, Dryad of Direwind says 'It was the gnolls that brought the Direwind. In its wake, the animals of these cliffs have become rabid and diseased. Even the landscape has grown dark and poisoned. Gather your allies, Hisissi. I need you to make a stand against this spreading corruption.' You have been assigned the task 'The Direwind Ritual Glade'. Kill 10 Clan Direwind Ratcallers 0/10 (Direwind Cliffs) Kill 10 A Direwind Ratkin 0/10 (Direwind Cliffs) Destory Axxanderan's Animated remains 0/1 (Direwind Cliffs) Loot 4 Rat Skull Totems 0/4 (Direwind Cliffs) The Ratcallers, Ratkin and Axxanderan's Animated remains all spawn near the northern end of Direwind Cliffs at /loc 1556, 582, 400 Take the griffon to the upper level but do not go through the gate guarded by the two Guardian of the Gate. Go past them to the west. The Ratcallers occasionally summon 4 or 5 plague rat pets. The Ratkin occasionally take the form of a giant rat. The named looks like an undead drake, and has a max hit of 1800. All of these mobs drop the required Rat Skull Totems. Deliver the 4 Rat Skull Totems to Vahna, Dryad of Direwind 0/4 (Direwind Cliffs) Your task 'The Direwind Ritual Glade' has been updated. Your task 'The Direwind Ritual Glade' has been updated. Your faction standing with Minohten got better. Your faction standing with Nymphs of the Darkwater got worse. You gain experience!!
