This group monster mission begins with Oathmir the Outcast at the zone-in of the Devastation.

You say, 'Hail, Oathmir the Outcast'

Oathmir the Outcast looks you up and down, taking in your weapons and instinctively gauging your ability. He replies in a somber tone. 'Hello. You are different than the rest of us here. You have not come here from the wall. You have somehow come straight from the world.' The outcast slowly shakes his head. 'You should leave this place before its nature becomes your own. I don't believe that you want to become part of the cycle here. Anger released upon others returns tenfold to the giver, they say. I have been in [the wall] and I will go there again, though each time it takes me longer to return, longer to fight my way back. I have been cast from the cycle. I no longer have enough rage in my heart. I [feel disconnected] from Her and without my rage and my desire I have nothing.'

You say, 'What is the wall?'

Oathmir the Outcast says 'The wall is, well, it is what it is. Those that die here or in the world with enough anger in their hearts, or those that kill with that anger, come here when they die. We are drawn here, to Her. The wall is where we go. There we fight with each other to be reborn, pushing our way forward to the boundary. [She] only calls those near the edge to do battle unless, of course, [her rage] is so great that she calls one of her most powerful servants from deep in the wall.'

You say, 'Who is she?'

Oathmir the Outcast says 'She? Well, you wouldn't know, you don't really belong here. She is Sullon Zek. She rules here. This is her plane. We call it the Devastation, though I suppose it might be more properly called the Plane of Rage. Each of us that belong here is drawn to her. We know that those that are worthy, with enough rage, will and strength, may become her servants and be summoned into the tower. Look out over the fields here and know that each of the creatures here serves Sullon Zek and they all fight to be by her side. Legends tell of those that have become Vessels of Rage, such as Belfon the Vile, and have entered the tower. We all wish that. Or, we all did wish that when we arrived. I have [seen things] that have changed me, and I no longer feel the rage as I should.'

You say, 'Seen things?'

Oathmir the Outcast says 'Yes. This place and everything and being in it are hers, given to her in their rage or by the power of her father, Rallos. It is all touched by her and her essence is everywhere. Sometimes in the wall it is possible to remember things that are important to her. There was a time when I was near to becoming the Vessel of Rage. As I battled for position at the front of the wall so that I might be allowed a chance to return to the battle, I found a small tooth. It was the tooth of a wolf. I stopped my struggles and examined the thing as well as I could. Suddenly I knew the nature of the tooth and how it came to be there. I also experienced a memory, one of [Her memories].'

You say, 'Her memories?'

Oathmir the Outcast says 'She remembers every great battle ever fought in the world or the planes, but she does not remember them as you might. She remembers the feelings of the battles more than the form. Those emotions become the memory of the battle and, for her, are the battle. I once experienced one of those memories, a gift from her, no doubt. What I saw and felt, it turned me from the path of rage and now I am lost here, useless to Her and too worthless for the combatants to destroy. I can't shake the feeling that she sent that memory to me for a purpose, but I can not decipher the reason why. Perhaps, if She so desires, I can show a memory to you as well. I am willing to reach out to her on your behalf, if you are [ready] for such an experience.'

You say, 'I'm ready'

A window pops up with two monster missions available, one of which is "Battle for Permafrost".

You have been assigned the task 'Battle for Permafrost'.
The direction to the entry to your instanced zone(s) have been marked on your compass.

Someone must play Sullon Zek. Other characters are Ghost and Snowtail. (What others are available?)

You have begun to remember a great battle. Find your way into the wall of the dead, where that memory can be experienced.

Find a place where you can force your way into the wall of the dead 0/1 (The Devastation)

Push your way into the wall 0/1 (The Devastation)

The zone-in to the instance is located nearby. Your compass will point you out to it.

LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...
You have entered Everfrost Peaks.

Speak with Hardvur 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

Your successes so far this day have been monumental. Your group has almost single-handedly broken the ice giants on the battlefield of Everfrost. It's time for you to finish it! Speak with Hardvur.

Hardvur Deshay is a barbarian who can be found by a tower near the zone-in point (+2000, -3800).

You say, 'Hail, Hardvur Deshay'

Hardvur Deshay says 'Ah, you've come Hardvur Deshay, good. We have great need of your group. We have watched you and seen your incredible skill and ferocity on the battlefield this day. While others struggled and often failed to drive the giants away from Halas, you and your friends have defeated them at every turn. If not for you Halas would already be lost. But now we must [finish the task], we must break King Sverag and his power in Permafrost. You, Sullon, and your compatriots shall lead us to victory!'

Your task 'Battle for Permafrost' has been updated.

You say, 'finish the task'

Hardvur Deshay says, ‘Ah, yes, better to fight now and speak later when the blood has cooled an the ale is warm! At the moment we have driven the remaining giants back to the entrance to their fortress. We can keep them pinned there as long as one of their leaders doesn’t return from the far edges of the battlefield. We need you to kill them while they are separated from the bulk of their armies. We’ve already sent several heroes to deal with Zengar, so we need you to find that monster Brontvig. You’re the only one of us strong enough to keep close enough to put an exe into his neck. His magic is devastating. Bring me his head before he finds his way back to the fortress and rallies the giants again. I’m not sure we can deal with them if they get organized again.

Kill Arch Magus Brontvig 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

Before we can take the keep we must secure the battlefield here in Everfrost. Arch Magus Brontvig has proven too much for any of our remaining heroes and he devastates any large group we send in. Kill him and bring me his head.

Brontvig roams, so making use of the wolves' track would be good here. He's been found "past Starn".

Loot Brontvig's head 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

Deliver Brontvig's head to Hardvur 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

(Dialogues?)

Kill Warlord Zengar 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

He roamed to Permafrost...

Loot Zengar's head 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

Deliver Zengar's head to Hardvur 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

(Dialogues?)

Speak with Feraya 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

Feraya is south of the ice giant area (outside of course).

Say "Ready" to Feraya to enter to Permafrost 0/1 (Everfrost Peaks)

(Dialogues?)

Defeat three of the leaders of Permafrost 0/3 (Permafrost)

Firstly, the wolves seem to have track so that can make things easier.
Here are the steps (Hardvur is at about 2000, -3800) north of where you were when you zoned in.
Find a place where you can force your way into the wall of the dead.
Push your way through the wall of the dead
Speak with Hardvur
Kill Arch Magus Brontvig (We found him roaming passed Starn)
Take Brontvig's head
Deli Brontvig's head to Hardvur
Kill Warlord Zengar (He roamed to perma where we fought him)
Take Zengar's head
Deliver Zengar's head to Hardvur
Speak with Feraya (she's to the south of the icegiant area (outside of course))
Say "Ready" to Feraya to enter to Permafrost
Defeath three of the leaders of Permafrost

At which point only 3 of us managed to zone into Permafrost, the others kept getting sent back to everfrost and eventually the task ended and we gave up
