A Quick Errand - Bertox's Chosen

This solo task begins with Fenden Helter in the Citadel of Dragonscale (right next to the port-in location). It has a lockout timer of 18 hours, which is shared with his other "Quick Errand" tasks.
You say, 'Hail, Fenden Helter' Fenden Helter says 'Hey there _____! You look like just my kind of adventurer! Do I have an [opportunity] for you! Why don't you come over here and we'll discuss the riches and adventures that can be yours?' You say, 'An opportunity?' Fenden Helter says 'Yes, yes! I alone am in a rather unique and fortunate position and lucky for you I'm willing to allow you to work for me! You see I happen to be close personal friends with nearly everyone in this part of the world. I am so trusted, in fact, that I'm authorized to hire adventurers such as you to perform various, ah, [tasks] for the groups in this part of Faydwer.' You say, 'What tasks?' Fenden Helter says 'There are several types of services you can perform for my various employers. You can perform [errands] or engage in [combat] or even perform various [acts] of mischief and sabotage. Whatever you choose you will be rewarded!' You say, 'Errands?' Fenden Helter says 'Why don't you take a look at these tasks and see if one of them seems like something you'd like to do today?' A window pops up offering seven tasks, one for each faction. You have been assigned the task 'A Quick Errand - Bertox's Chosen'. Fenden has asked you to perform a small favor for Bertox's Chosen. The followers of Bertoxxulous have a sinister errand for you. They enjoy the current state of the Hills of Shade and want you to do everything to keep the influence of Bertoxxulous strong in that area. They ask that you journey to several locations in Hills of Shade and release the Essence of Bertoxxulous to keep his presence strong in the hills. Return and speak with Fenden when you have completed this small task. Ask Fenden for the item you need 0/1 (Dragonscale Hills) (Dialogues?) You receive an Essence of Bertox. Release the Essence of Bertox at an Entrance to the Crypt of Shade 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Location is 141, 661, -22 (north entry to the crypt). Release the Essence of Bertox in the Kirathas Village 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Location is -623, 1956, 3 (near a rock in the middle of the village). Release the Essence of Bertox near the Aviaks 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Location is 1519, 2075, 84 (roughly the middle of the north wall of the aviak area). Release the Essence of Bertox at the Docks along the Beach 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Location is 1651, -373, 19 (roughly the middle of the beach near the center dock. You can equip the Eyes of Blackwater sold by the Mysterious Stranger in Hills of Shade for about 53 plat for safety.). Release the Essence of Bertox at the Graveyard 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Location is 914, -1073, 76. Release the Essence of Bertox at Deathcap Village 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Location is -501, -1924, -580. I highly recommend loading those LOCs into your hillsofshade map file.. They helped a lot.. All were spot on.. I took off levitate.
Loc at Deathcap village no longer working for me at Deathcap village. Anyone having problems?
Update: Just found this to update now at the door way of the middle shroom hut, the one with no mobs in. -501, -1924, -580 (ish)

looks like they moved location in patch = when u go into middle hut u get update a lot easier now.
ok go into middle hut = had no mob in side it
Turn around and walk out a few and u see a mushroom tree
thats spot had levitation on :)
watch for the wandering mobs though good luck

No, it is above ground. Make sure that you are not levitated when doing this one. That seems to matter.
I am having much better luck (i.e., less agro issues) on the Graveyard update by being slightly south of the spot I was using initially. The location I now strongly recommend is this:
893, -1071, 57
The testing I have been doing indicates that this loc puts you just out of agro range of all of the nearby static spawn mobs and allows you to get the update without having to be so careful about the "tick pulse timing" to avoid agro.
You do still need to wait for roaming mobs to wander far enough away to be out of agro range, however. Failure to do this can result in an unscheduled trip to your bind point.
The rest of the update locations are all fine provided you watch for the roamers and use the Eyes of Blackwater mask for the docks/beach update.

I will confirm that this location works, but be aware that there are roamers in the graveyard and that you need to wait until none of them are within agro range of it before you drop your stealth or IVU to click the item or you will likely get killed.

I can confirm that this loc works for this update, though I discovered that if I was levitated and even slightly above the terrain I wasn't able to get the update. I dropped lev, however, and without even moving I was able to get the update. Evidently the update locations are very "z-axis" specific.
Also be aware that like the Graveyard location there are nearby roaming mobs so be careful.
I also discovered that there is at least one roaming mob near the Kirathas Village update location, but by being careful about when to become visible to use the clickie item I was able to avoid him.
I used the Eyes of Blackwater item sold by a Mysterious Stanger to get the update near the docks without getting agro.

You're right, it's not. It's a bit south of the Blackwater Village area and a good distance due west of the graveyard. The other graveyard location provided by the member named dumaine, however, is correct. Here's the confirmed proper loc as he reported it.

At the moment it cannot be used while you are invisible, stealthed or hidden in any way. One of the Developers posting on the EQ players board indicated that may be changed in an upcoming patch, but for now it continues to have that limitation.
