|This group task is the first in a series of five and begins with Clockwork Warmarshal, who is located near the Ak'Anon Strike Force camp at the zone-in of Fortress Mechanotus.
You say, 'Hail, Clockwork Warmarshal'
Clockwork Warmarshal says 'Hello there soldier. It's good to see so many Norrathians rally to help stop this menace! Since our crash and my [promotion] to leader of the Albatross' ground forces, I've been overwhelmed with necessary military action and underprovided with forces to complete those actions. I know it's unusual, especially since you are not officially enlisted for this action, but perhaps you could [accept orders] from an old clockwork and help out all of Norrath in the process? Or if you and your allies are truly brave, someone needs to make forays into those dratted [gyrospires] if we're to have much of a chance getting reinforcements up here.'
You say, 'Gyrospires?'
Clockwork Warmarshal says 'In addition to the Fortress Mechanotus, Meldrath made three other spires that he uses as roving tower defenses. Though he called them guard towers, and they could help intercept attacks, intelligence we have gathered indicate he also planned to use them in his attack on Ak'Anon. When Ak'Anon made it's counter attack we managed to destroy one of them before we were unable to continue to fly. Our intelligence indicates that they are called gyrospire [beza] and gyrospire [zeka].'
You say, 'Beza?'
Clockwork Warmarshal says 'This tower is an important part of Meldrath's plans to take over Ak'Anon. He realized that while he attacked he would need to defend his mansion from counter attacks, and additionally have a mobile platform from which to launch flanking attacks. While I constantly question Meldrath's sanity, I cannot fault his strategic planning. While I am... assured... that Tabazin Gearflinger will be able to get the Albatross flying again, I want to plan for a secondary method to get back to Ak'Anon once our mission here is complete. With that in mind I will be asking you to disrupt gyrospire beza, while doing only minimal damage to its structure. The [first] thing I would like you to do is to explore the tower a bit and disrupt their day to day operations.'

The Clockwork Warmarshal needs you to disrupt the day to day activities within Gyrospire Beza. Go to the catapult that will launch you to Gyrospire Beza.
Go to the Gyrospire Beza launch catapult 0/1 (Fortress Mechanotus)
Explore some of the rooms on the lower levels and see if you can find evidence of the chamberlain. While you are exploring, kill some steamworks to make it more difficult for Meldrath to restore the gyrospire to full operation.
Kill 35 Steamworks 0/35 (Gyrospire Beza)
After killing your 35 Steamworks you need to explore the rooms to get task updates. One of the rooms that is rather important is what looks like a bar, and is the update you get for "find out where Meldrath meets with his commanders". Clear this room even if there are no see invis. The boss mob will spawn here.

See if the steamwork Chamberlain is helping in the planning room 0/1 (Gyrospire Beza)
See if the steamwork Chamberlain is preparing for a lecture from Meldrath 0/1 (Gyrospire Beza)
Check if the steamwork Chamberlain is refueling in the refueling room 0/1 (Gyrospire Beza)
Finally, check to see if the steamwork chamberlain is being repaired 0/1 (Gyrospire Beza)
Kill 1 Chamberlain I 0/1 (Gyrospire Beza)
Chamberlain I spawns three adds during the fight at various % of health. (The first may come at about 60%). The adds are mezzable, and hit harder than the named does. Should you wipe, the adds will remain up, kill them and re-engage Chamberlain. He will not generate the adds again as you beat him down.
Report back to Clockwork Warmarshal 0/1 (Fortress Mechanotus)
Return and report your progress to Clockwork Warmarshal. You can leave the gyrospire by using the catapault close to where you landed when you first came to the gyrospire.

Clockwork Warmarshal says 'Though it would seem a small thing, be destroying the Chamberlain steamwork you have upset their day to day operations. If you are interested, there is more you can do in gyrospire [beza].'
