This raid expedition begins with Friggal Bribbitz at the Wayfarer camp in South Ro. You must have at least six players in your raid and no more than 54.

You say, 'Hail, Friggal Bribbitz'

Friggal Bribbitz says 'With the help of the Wayfarer's Brotherhood and adventurers like you, we hope to stop the Witnesses of Hate from completing their dark rituals and cursing all those who have entered Deepest Guk. If you can rally the call of your friends perhaps you can help us with a serious [problem].'

You say, 'What problem?'

Friggal Bribbitz says 'We have been hearing reports that the Witnesses of Hate are amassing sacrifices for a dark ritual. Lich Rtrangi appears to be behind the sacrifices with the intent to afflict the living Frogloks with a disfiguring curse. We have a scout who can assist you in Deepest Guk with infiltrating Rtangi's domain and putting a stop to his plans. Are you [interested]?'

You say, 'I am interested'

Friggal Bribbitz says 'The scout will meet you inside Deepest Guk. Be safe, _____.'

You are assigned the expedition "Deepest Guk: Ritualist of Hate".

The entrance to the zone is located in Innothule Swamp at +940, +570, 16. (Your compass will indicate direction.)

In the instance you will have to kill five named mobs in order (one spawns after the other in different parts of the zone): Leklos the Bonekeeper, The Cavern Creeper, The Cursed Spore, Gragna the Cursed, and The Cursed Keeper.

LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...
You have entered Deepest Guk: Ritualist of Hate.

Trash here are around 65-66th level, hit for ~1,400 and respawn.

One of the first rooms you enter will have several warriors of Gukta battling undead. In the next room is Leklos the Bonekeeper.

Warrior of Gukta says, Thank you for your hasty assistance brave travellers. Leklos lies within this room. We shall hold his minions back while you destroy him.

Warrior of Gukta shouts 'Back you spawn of evil, the warriors of Gukta shall always prevail.'

Leklos the Bonekeeper says 'None shall defy the will of the keeper.'

Leklos hits for a max ~2,300; enrages; and casts two spells:

Bone Whirl: PB AE 250', Magic (-300)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 600
2: Stun(6.00 sec/65)

Flesh Pile: PB AE 250', Magic (-500)
1: Decrease ATK by 300
2: Decrease AC by 90
3: Decrease HP when cast by 300

Leklos the Bonekeeper has been slain by _____!
Your faction standing with Innoruuk's Curse of the Cauldron got worse.

Leklos the Bonekeeper's corpse falls to the ground a lifeless pile of bones.

A Warrior of Gukta says, 'Thank you for the help adventurers, but you must hurry deeper into the cavern. Some of our resident Evokers are trying to take care of a cursed creature that ambushed some of us on the way down. I am sure they could use your help. Please listen for chanting and you should find them easily. We shall make our way back to Gukta and report to the others what is going on.'

Next up is The Cavern Creeper, which you will encounter a little ways further in the dungeon.

You hear the sound of chanting coming from deeper within the dungeon, an invisible force seems to be pulling you east.

Master Evoker of Gukta says, 'You must hurry, I thought we could handle this with just the four of us so we told the others to go on ahead but the ritual has taken so much out of me that we are barely managing to contain that creature in the room. We need your help, if you can distract it my apprentices may be able to complete the ritual which will cut off its source of dark power.'

Past the Master Evoker you will find the Cavern Creeper.

The Cavern Creeper lunges out with its spiked tendrils, focusing on its prey.

It hits for a max ~2,800; AE rampages for full damage; enrages; and casts two spells:

Fist of Innoruuk: Single Target, Magic (-500)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 5000
2: Stun(12.00 sec)
3: Feign Death

Poisoned Barbs of the Cavern: PB AE 250', Poison (-350)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 500
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 500 per tick
3: Drunk if Alcohol Tolerance not at least 50
4: Increase Poison Counter by 36

The Cavern Creeper has been slain by _____!
Your faction standing with Innoruuk's Curse of the Cauldron got worse.

You hear the sound of something breaking open as the giant beast falls to the ground lifeless.

One of the Evoker's shakes his head once and then says, 'Thank you for your assistance my friends. Some of our Shamans have made their way to the north in an effort to contain another of the Keeper's evil minions. Please head to the north and listen for voices this should help you find them. We will head back to Gukta and report on your progress. The Master Evoker will stay and help when he can.'

Your victory has weakened a shroud of magic cloaking the dungeon's treasure.

Your next target is The Cursed Spore.

Whispers of several voices can be heard from straight ahead.

You will come across several Prophets of Gukta who've surrounded The Cursed Spore.

The Cursed Spore says 'You come to destroy the master so I must destroy you instead.'

It hits for a max ~2,900; enrages; and casts two spells:

Cursed Keeper's Siphon: PB AE 400', Disease (-275)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 500 per tick
2: Decrease Mana by 300 per tick
3: Increase Disease Counter by 45

Trance of Innoruuk: Single Target, Magic (-500)
1: Mesmerize(2/65)

Throughout the fight you'll see emotes indicating resistances have been lowered:

A blue light engulfs the Prophets as they summon forth the power of Mithaniel reducing the Cursed Spore's inherent resistance to changes in its attack speed. Prophet of Gukta says, 'The ritual has been a slight success. We have broken through one of this cursed beings immunities. Try reducing its attack speed while we prepare for the next part of the ritual.'

A blue light engulfs the Prophets as they summon forth the power of Mithaniel reducing all of The Cursed Spore's inherent resistances slightly. Prophet of Gukta says, 'Keep it up everyone, because of the damage you have done we were able to force another weakness upon it. You should be able to cast a little more effectively now but we will need more time before we can increase your effectiveness.'

A blue light engulfs the Prophets as they summon forth the power of Mithaniel significantly reducing all of The Cursed Spore's inherent resistances. Prophet of Gukta says, 'Excellent, we have reduced his resistance to all magical abilities even more, keep distracting him while we prepare for the final part of the ritual.'

A blue light engulfs the Prophets as they summon forth the power of Mithaniel completely removing all of The Cursed Spore's inherent resistances. Prophet of Gukta says, 'The ritual is complete and we have been very successful. His ability to resist your magic should be almost nonexistent.'

The Cursed Spore has been slain by _____!
Your faction standing with Innoruuk's Curse of the Cauldron got worse.

The Cursed Spore's corpse falls to the ground no longer capable of moving on its own.

Prophet of Gukta says, 'Your assistance has helped turn the tide of battle, but it is not over yet. The Cursed Keeper knows you are here and he has sent more minions to hinder your progress. You must continue on as time is running short. Four of our clerics and a paladin have run ahead to take care of the kidnapper Gragna but they will need your help. Listen for his voice and you should be able to find him. We will return to Gukta and make a report on your progress.'

Next up is Gragna the Cursed.

You hear a voice from the south. Knight of Gukta shouts, 'Please noble adventurers hurry to me, our time is running short.'

Knight of Gukta says, 'You have arrived just in time. We have managed to confine this cursed being to this room but for some reason are unable to affect it in any other way. The only help I can offer is by granting the blessing of Mithaniel to those I feel need it while you are fighting the beast.'

Gragna the Cursed says 'The curse has gifted me with many abilities, come let me show you the way to the underworld.'

He hits for a max ~2,900; enrages; and casts three spells:

Assail of Innoruuk: PB AE 300', Magic (-500)
1: Decrease Magic Resist by 100
2: Decrease Fire Resist by 100
3: Decrease Cold Resist by 100
4: Decrease Poison Resist by 100
5: Decrease Disease Resist by 100

Pact of Innoruuk: Single Target, Prismatic (-275)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000

Scorch of Innoruuk: PB AE 300', Prismatic (-275)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 3000

During the fight, the tank may be healed by the Paladin Guktans (spell "Mithaniel's Blessing"):

The four healers begin to glow increasing the power of the Paladin. Knight of Gukta says, 'Oh great Mithaniel please bless these great fighters with your healing touch.'

Gragna the Cursed has been slain by _____!
Your faction standing with Innoruuk's Curse of the Cauldron got worse.

Gragna's decayed corpse falls to the floor as the taint from the curse drains from her body to reveal her true visage

Knight of Gukta says 'Thank you for your help, we shall return to Gukta and report your progress.'

Your victory has weakened a shroud of magic cloaking the dungeon's treasure.

As the final blow is struck an angry voice fills the halls. The Cursed Keeper says, 'You meddlesome fools, you have ruined my plans, but I shall have my retribution. Come to me if you dare and I will show you the glory of everlasting pain.'

You hear the voice of the master evoker in your mind, 'Your efforts have paid off, we have stopped him from accomplishing his plans and now we must ask that you destroy him while he is weak. Please make haste to the back of the dungeon and rescue our brethren.'

Finally, you will encounter The Cursed Keeper.

An evil aura calls to you from the left.

The Cursed Keeper hits for a max ~2,900; AE rampages for full damage (does NOT enrage); and casts five spells:

Allure of Hatred: Single Target, Magic (-500)

Was tuff. Bosses at begining were a pain. Had a few people just sitting around group with me so I could get Raid Task.

There was an additional Mob with him at the end. Green to me at 92 Bidips Essence.

Only 2 Chests popped. I got 2 •Burning Acid Shard's and one •Ritualist's Stone of Flowing Health.

Was hoping for an Enchanted Stone of Burning Rage

11 years after your question, but in later expansions (I believe SoF and onward), gear starts dropping that have type 3 aug slots that don't get used a lot. 4 heroic strength in an otherwise empty aug slot is not bad for certain classes.

Solo'd today with my 85sk. Not too bad. Was tough. But do able.

Tonight
# Dec 17 2009 at 11:32 PM Rating: Decent
Did this tonight to try to get augs for my 65 and learned a few things.

1) THIS MISSION IS TIMED!! you get about 5 hours to finish it.
2) Unlike normal LDoN, there is no level cap. 85's could group with my 65 NP.
3) Trash helps each other, and hits hard but has somewhat low HP. 20-40k hp.
4) Named are tough f***ers. All parced in at over 400khp.
5) They don't seem to re-spawn.
6) >>ALL<< have raid (5min) timers for regen.

Suggested Group:
Melee - Tank - Main Tank
Melee - DPS - Secondary Tank
Melee - DPS - Secondary DPS (Suggested rogue/bard; LDoN love to have traps and locked chests)
Caster - Healer - Main Healer
Caster - DPS - Primary DPS (Wizard, Magician, Necromancer)
Caster - OPEN - Fill this based on the quality of the players above. If tank/healer is lesser, fill with second Healer. If tank/healer are good, fill with more DPS.

Level Suggested:
While this raid is based off of 65 content, I recommend only only person that low. The rest should be 75+, group geared or better. With no level limit found, you >CAN< group a 65 with an 85.

Walkthrough (work in progress):
Step 1) BRING 85'S!! You start in an empty room, frog on the floor with warr epic, facing the wrong direction (TY SOE!). Turn around and head down the hall, will be a few in the hall, and a few in the room down the hall.
Step 2) MED UP HERE. This room is a great place to med up.
Step 3) The next room holds a few trash, but to the west will hold the first named. It is tethered in the room. I used that to our advantage and took it down long range except for a bit of meele. Leklos the Bonekeeper was our first, had about 400khp. This mob is undead to start. Our 80 ranger tank (no idea on stats) had a range of hits, 659 minimum to 2457 high, with an avg of 1179dmg. Overall not too hard if you can avoid melee, but the raid timer hurts things.
Step 4) Recover from fight, and move east. Ignore the north hall unless you want exp and trouble. There will be a good number of trash mobs, but nothing hard. Melee should solo as much as they can, letting casters med and avoid raid timer. You will come to the trench room, go down the trench, avoid all halls but the one you came down, and clear down the trench avoiding the dead end. Head into the room down the trench.
Step 5) MED UP HERE. The named is in the room up ahead of where you came in (I think its north). Buff up poison resist as much as you can.
Step 6) Mob (The Cavern Creeper) will FD your tank and stun them, so be ready with back up. The AE poison dot will get you drunk without 50+ AT, and can reach well through the medding room into the trench (we lost a rogue that way). I only parced some of the fight (with a total of 117k) but i believe that it had 400k+ hp, will update later. Alcohol Tolerance is a biggie for this fight. Without it your casters will be lamed. Once done, head back into the medding room.
Step 7) MED UP HERE. Again this is the best place to med up. the other hall (i believe east) will lead to the next mob. Again let the melee solo as much as they can. Stick to the right wall, eventually it will drop off steely and reveal the named with guktan mages around it.
Step 8) Got a rather accurate fight for this one (The Cursed Spore). Has about 470k hp by parse. We had an 85 mage pet tank this one, low hit was 652 and the high hit was 2250 with average hit at 1002. i will note that 23.95% of the named's hit was exactly 750. He cast 12 spells in the 3.26 minute fight, so not too much casting from him. Mainly be ready for this mobs high hp.
Step 9) COMING SOON.

Please remember that this is a work in progress post. Will update often until finished. Contact Drefan on the Prexus server if you'd like to join in with us.

Entrance is the normal LGuk LDoN entrance (Hollow log) in Innothule Swamp.

Mobs have pretty low hp, mix of undead/bugs/evil eyes (all enchanters).

Any frogloks alive during a boss fight turn undead afterwards.

Trash was hitting 2k ac zerker for 300 (low) to 950 (high), warriors flurry.

Bosses are tough, even at 79-80. Can only see a higher end group being able to 6 man this.

How did you beat the final mob(s)? IIRC, he uses a 3 person unresistable charm and there are 2 main mobs and 2 weak trash that spawns after engage. There is an item I think drops in this raid, but I haven't figured out how to beat it with few people.
