This raid task begins with Kadara Fangbreaker near the Steamfont zone-in in the Loping Plains. You must have completed the single-group task "The Bloodmoon" in order to request it.

Minimum raid size is 6; maximum raid size is 12.

    You say, 'Hail, Kadara Fangbreaker'

Kadara Fangbreaker's lip pulls back in a smirk as you approach her. 'So you're [the one]. I wondered when you'd be by to see me. You're late.'

    You say, 'The one?'

Kadara Fangbreaker says 'I guess it would be more accurate to call you the two, since the one was already here, and he didn't last long. Hopefully you'll prove to have a little more...fortitude. I hope you don't have any [qualms] about killing wolves.'

    You say, 'Qualms?'

Kadara Fangbreaker says 'I know they can look so cute munching on a fresh deer carcass, but seriously, they'll eat your spleen given half a chance. Especially that [big one] they've got in the stables now. He might even eat your liver too.'

    You say, 'Big one?'

Kadara Fangbreaker says 'Well ok.. 'big' might not be the best word to describe it. Let's go with .. 'gravitous'. I'm not even sure that's a word, but you'll agree with me when you see the thing. I suspect the orcs have been feeding it their own blood. That would at least explain its freakish size. So what's it going to be, _______? Think you can hack it as a fang breaker?'

You say, 'I can hack it as a fang breaker.'

You have been assigned the task 'Moonfang'.

Kadara Fangbreaker has seen a giant wolf being kept by the Bloodmoon orcs in the stables. She believes the orcs are experimenting on this beast by feeding it their own blood to make it stronger and more ferocious. Enter the stables of Bloodmoon Keep and kill this beast before it can be used by the orcs in battle.

Enter Bloodmoon Keep 0/1 (Loping Plains)

Enter by clicking on the regular Bloodmoon zone door.

    Slay Moonfang 0/1 (Bloodmoon Keep)

Moonfang is located in the orc/worg area to the east upon zoning in. Mobs are in bunches, so FD/fade pulling and/or crowd control is a must.

Moonfang hits for a max ~6,000 (quads) and enrages. He also flurries and AE rampages for full damage (not very often). In addition, he procs the spell "Wolf Lunge" every 30 seconds:

Wolf Lunge: Single Target, Unresistable (0)
    1: Decrease Hitpoints by 4000
    2: Stun(2.00 sec)
    3: Feign Death

Any trash mobs still alive in the zone at the time you engage him will be summoned to his aid. In addition, he spawns a wave of four adds about every 20% beginning at 90% health. You'll know they're about to rush the raid when you see this flash across your screen:

Moonfang lets out a blood-curdling howl.

Moonfang has been slain by _____!
    You gained raid experience!

Return to Kadara 0/1 (Loping Plains)

Someone needs to return to the Fang Breaker camp and hail Kadara.

    You say, 'Hail, Kadara Fangbreaker'

Your task 'Moonfang' has been updated.

Kadara Fangbreaker grins slyly as you approach, 'What a surprise, you made it back in one piece. You must be smarter than you look. I suppose you'll be wanting that reward now.'

Your faction standing with Fang Breakers got better.

You have successfully been granted your reward for: Moonfang

Is it possible to pull past him to get the rest of the trash mobs? If not how do you deal with them?

Healed him with 2 clerics on a DPoB tank, so his DPS wasn't that bad. AE Ramp only went off a couple times, so it's not really worth worrying about The adds are the tough part though. The adds seemed to come about every 30-45 seconds statically. It's either 6 Worg Pups or 3 Vicious Worgs. The Vicious Worgs are mezzable, the pups apparently are not. What we did was pull Moonfang to entrance after clearing all the trash on the way. The adds spawn in the stalls in his area, so they have to run to the entrance. I parked myself on the steps leading down to the warg pits and watched them run. Once they were close, I AE rooted with Vinelash Cascade them. Myself and a druid kept doing this till we won, but one person could handle it easy. The pups have very little hps, maybe 5k tops, but the Viscious have 120k. If you have a dependable Ranger or Druid, this works nicely, otherwise just AE the pups down and mez the vicious.

This does not work at all as described - or no longer.

The adds start much earlier than 90% - we had 2-3 waves before reaching 90%.

Adds now include Viscious as well as the pups. Although you can mezz the viscious, they have lots of hp and hit for about 2k.

Tip : clear the room he / she is in.
Got an emote " Moonfang lets out a bloodcurling howl! " and in comes the mobs we left up lol

Found him in the 2nd r00m to the east. Also casts an FD 4k DD, Wolf Lunge. AE ramps, flurries. 4 adds about every 20% starting at 90, they have very few hps
