The Recrystalizer is an 8 slot container and there are only 7 Faycite Shards listed. Is there another quested Shard that makes the aug more powerful? This seems like a pretty weak aug for what's involved to get it.
I listed all 8 shards. I assume you are looking for the Dull Obsidian Faycite Shard. You can only get the task from Reaver lebanezer AFTER you have kindly faction.
The final augment does seem a little weak, but it does have something going for it. It has +5 Herioc Stamina.

These augs are from each quest in HoS. The merchant there (requires apprehensive faction) sells an item to combine them in. So yes, I'm assuming its for a badass aug.

*update* I have been told by other players that there are other small aug's like this. So i am thinking its more along the lines of the hand aug from The Buried Sea.
Didnt get npc dialogue on this, didnt have /log running.
