The mine entrance for the first update is +500, +600. Faende's corpse is in the back of the mine, just continue heading east as far as you can and look on the floor in the last room. The reward for completing the quest was experience and Fang Breakers faction.

Fortunisa Nighthunter can be found in the Loping Plains in the Fang Breakers camp near the zone-in from the Steamfont Mountains.
You say, 'Hail, Fortunisa Nighthunter' Fortunisa Nighthunter says 'Greetings _____. My name is Fortunisa Nighthunter. I've been sent here by the Felwithe Keepers to ascertain the status of the Marble Mines of Mistwynd. You may have visited these [mines] in your travels through the Loping Plains.' You say, 'Mines?' Fortunisa Nighthunter says 'The Marble Mines of Mistwynd are found in the central mountains of the Loping Plains. They are a very important area for the residents of Felwithe; we mine the marble there to help rebuild our ancient homeland. However, as of late there have been rumors of minotaurs rampaging in the mines. My brother Faende, the foreman of the mines, hasn't reported back to Felwithe for more than a fortnight. I've been sent to find some adventurers to enter the mines and search for my brother. Could I [trouble] you with the task of assisting with this matter? I can pay you handsomely.' You say, 'What trouble?' Fortunisa Nighthunter says 'Excellent. Please head to the Marble Mines of Mistwynd. Once there, slay any minotaurs that cross your path. I fear my brother Faende may not be alive, however, if he is, please escort him to safety. Make haste _____!' You have been assigned the task 'Victim of the Minotaurs'. Fortunisa requires you to find the Marble Mines of Mistwynd and to slay the minotaurs inhabiting the area. She also mentioned that her brother, a foreman by the name of Faende, has gone missing in the mines. She wants you to find him and bring him back safely. I can confirm that the quest stages are exactly as Bosephus described them. I just now soloed it. When you return to Fortunisa Nighthunter, after completing the mission, hail her, and the message you get is "Fortunisa tells you, 'Faende is gone? I am lost. He was my rock, my anchor, my friend. Who will look after me now? Although you couldn't have saved him, I thank you for trying. Your valor gives me hope that one day we may reclaim these plains, and rebuild our ancestral homes.'"
Man, this one sure ends on a downer!
