This is the third and final event in the "Vergalid Mines: Vergalid's End" raid task. Vergalid is located in the deepest point of the Vergalid Mines.
Once six or more people near him: The ground begins to tremble beneath you. You look ahead as Vergalid frees himself from his icy prison, 'Free, free at last! Serric, you old fool. I knew this day would come.' Vergalid says, 'I wonder how I could possibly repay my debt to a group of fool-hardy adventurers such as yourselves... Perhaps by devouring you one by one? HAH!' Vergalid hits for ~7000, flurries, single-target rampages, AE rampages (full damage), and has two spells in his arsenal, which are cureable only by killing the 'infused crystals' in his room and stepping into their ensuing auras: Breed of Corruption PB AE 180', (-30 Corruption) (spawns a 'spawn of Vergalid' if not cured) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 1000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000 per tick Dooming Exile Targeted AE 500', (-105 Corruption) (banishes target to top of pit if not cured) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 1500 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 1500 per tick In addition to those spells, the spell "Roar of Insanity" is cast while Vergalid is active (this may be zone-wide...) Roar of Insanity PB AE 1000', (-60 Corruption) 1: Decrease Mana by 1000 2: Decrease Endurance by 1000 3: Stun(6.00 sec) 4: Decrease Hitpoints by 2000 Upon Vergalid's death: Vergalid's corpse crumples into a tangled mass of blood. You have received a character flag! Your task 'Vergalid Mines: Vergalid's End' has been updated. Cannot get vergalid to go active no matter what I try. 6 people rushing him at once, 1 person then the rest, 8 people...nothing. Any known work arounds???
Radiant cure cures the effects as well as the crystals. The crystals seem to not be 100% cure rate.
