This is an event in the Ashengate North raid expedition.
Veldyn`s Shade is a straight forward DPS fight. She hits for a max ~5,500, flurries, enrages, has a lot of hitpoints, and procs two spells: Veldyn's Torment: Single Target, Corruption (-1000) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 8000 Veldyn's Discord: PB AE 200', Magic (-150) 1: Stun(5.00 sec) Be sure you're close to Veldyn`s Shade. Anyone away from her will be hit by one or more of the following spells, courtesy the unattackable Disciples surrounding her: Nimbus of the First Disciple: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 3000 per tick Nimbus of the Second Disciple: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease Spell Haste by 50% 2: Limit: Spell Type(Detrimental only) 3: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed 4: Decrease Attack Speed by 50% 5: Increase corruption counter by 16 Nimbus of the Third Disciple: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease Movement by 70% 2: Increase Curse Counter by 16 Nimbus of the Fourth Disciple: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Blindness(1) Nimbus of the Fifth Disciple: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 3500 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 3500 per tick 3: Increase corruption counter by 16 Nimbus of the Sixth Disciple: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease Magic Resist by 500 2: Unknown #370 (100/-200/0) Nimbus of the Seventh Disciple: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Root 2: Illusion: Banshee 3: Increase corruption counter by 16 Veldyn`s Shade has been slain by _____! Veldyn`s Shade's corpse screams in ecstasy as her spirit is released from ages of torment... Your faction standing with Blood of Solusek got worse. Your faction standing with Scholars of Solusek got better. Dyn`leth`s Disciple says 'The spirit has been freed from the circle... Continue the ritual, her soul may still be summoned back and rebound to her body.' A chest spawns with loot. This event does not always drop a Soldier's Stone of Purity, btw. Got Magma Lacquer and a Hardened Coalstone of Purity as the drops.
