Ashengate East Event: Stitch's Ambush

This is an aug event in the Ashengate East raid expedition. Unlike the Griffon Master event, this event may not be skipped.
At the end of the east wing in Ashengate is a gate inside the mouth of a statue dragon head. Move your entire raid inside the gate and into the tunnel. At the end of this tunnel is another gate. Clicking on either gate from within the tunnel will initiate the event: Stitch laughs cruelly and you hear both portcullis lock into place. It's an ambush! You will need to fend off waves of Scarlet Legion assassins (easiest), cutthroats (medium), and murderers (toughest) for approximately 15 minutes. Also during this time, Stitch (who is behind a locked gate) will be casting the spell "Tainted Arrow Salvo", which must be cured through the Corruption line of spells. Tainted Arrow Salvo: Targeted AE 50', (-100 Corruption) (duration: 30 seconds) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 500 per tick 2: Unknown #371 (100/40/0) 3: Improved Spell Effect(Tainted Arrow Effect) 4: Unknown #369 (100/8/0) 5: Decrease HP when cast by 2000 If not cured in time, the spell "Tainted Arrow Effect" triggers on the inflicted player: Tainted Arrow Effect: Self 0', Unresistable (0) (duration: 1 minute) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 2500 per tick 2: Unknown #369 (100/16/0) After about 15 minutes, Krait the Bloodletter spawns. He has no special abilities besides enrage. Upon his death, all adds despawn and "Stitch`s ambush chest" spawns at the end of the tunnel with loot. Note: Don't leave too many mobs up without aggro'ing them, otherwise the event will reset. Fayman adds: Take care about every spawn. If you leave not only some but only ONE out then expect that the event resets. Strat is to run between the doors to catch every edge or to split the groups each guarded one side. Fought over an hour till we realized it! Loot from this event includes: 1 Mark of Vergalid (backflag), 2-3 Glowing Obsidian Runes, 1 group augmentation, and 1 raid augmentation (this list): Arcane Actuator Arcane Wavebender Prism Clipped Griffon Wings Flowing Magma Soulstone Krithgor Ribshard Magma Lacquer Prism of Captured Energy Sharpening Stone of the Sky | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Keep one mob alive during pre-Stich event....otherwise it tends to reset.

Tried this raid for hours with only six people. Could not get final named mob to spawn. I was finally able to do it with following steps, not sure how many truly had an effect, but was able to complete it:
1. do not touch either gate once you get first emote.
2. spread the group out along the entire hallway. do not let any mob stand for a few seconds without agroing it.
3. can cure the arrow effect at any time. did not seem to have impact.

we got 1x mark of vergalid, 3x glowing obsidian rune, 1x prism of captured energy, 1x pristine granite stone
this event starts out SLOW dont let that fool you.
