Surprised nobody has posted this yet but if yer looking for him he can be found in the East Kobold caves (left branch of Icefall, right wall about half way up running north.) Enter caves, take left and then hug right and he is in second room. /loc is +1640 +33
As I ran around aimlessly looking for him through east and west caves I didn't run across any see invis mobs...fyi.

You have been assigned the task 'The Stonefed Shaman'. Find Gnashclaw Stonefed 0/1 (Icefall Glacier) Kill 10 Coldeye orcs 0/10 (Icefall Glacier) Kill 1 Gnashclaw Stonefed 0/1 (Icefall Glacier) He's only killable if a person with this stage active in the task comes within the visible aura of Gnashclaw. Retrieve what remains of the Sacred Stone from Gnashclaw (Icefall Glacier) Loot Remains of the Sacred Stone off Gnashclaw's corpse. Quest was changed July 25, now is named "The Stonefed Shaman"
Additionally, Gnashclaw (still requires to be powered-up via The Sacred Stone quest) now only becomes killable if a person with The Stonefed Shaman quest requiring the step "Kill one Gnashclaw Stonefed" available in the tasks - comes within/inside the visible aura of Gnashclaw.

Negative on the summoning, Gnashclaw is a friendly target.
Does Gnashclaw summon? If not, guess it's time to start factioning in Icefall.
