Find Shrub Marwood in the eastern hideout of the Firiona Vie outpost.
Upon completing the Dark Oak quest, Shrub states: Shrub Marwood tosses the mantrap root out the window.. SPLASH!! 'I made a mistake. I didn't need that one. Here is the shillelagh I told you about. I found it in some burned out woods far from here. I cleaned it up and found it had a spark of mana so I had it enchanted with a few charges of my spell, [Fertile Crop]. Hope you like it. You say, 'fertile crop?' Shrub Marwood says 'Looking to get hold of my family druid spell, ehh? It doesn't come without a price. Lucky for you all I need is for you to run a small errand for me. Go fetch me a Sarnak farsight crystal, some Sarnak nightdust, some strathebone heal silk and some powder of Tsu. Do that and I will give you a copy of my family secret.' Bring him these items: - Sarnak Farsight Crystal (Sarnak Revealers in Lake of Ill Omen) - Pouch of Dust (lore "Sarnak Night Dust", Sarnak Partisans in Frontier Mountains) - Strathebone Silk (strathebone spiders in Kaesora) - Shaman Powder (lore "Powder of Tsu", Froglok Tsu Shamans in Swamp of No Hope and Firiona Vie) Turn these four items in to Shrub Marwood. Shrub Marwood says 'Great work! I wish I had the coin to hire you on permanently. Maybe I will, when I find the lost trade city of Torsis. Here is the spell I copied for you. Careful, the ink is still drying.' Your faction standing with Inhabitants of Firiona Vie has been adjusted by 5. Your faction standing with Emerald Warriors has been adjusted by 3. Ive gotten the Gem of Yet to Come from sarnaks in the Overthere....the lowest level ones forget the name

Sarnak Gem Oracles drop Gems of Yet to Come.

The Sarnak Crystal is called a Gem of Yet to Come. Looks like a red gemstone and is Lore and Nodrop. It comes off caster Sarnaks around the castle, not really sure which ones but is not that uncommon. I've looted 10 or 12 in my Sarnak killing career.

That's a different one. The Gem of yet to come is for a monk quest. The epic, if I remember correctly...

Actually, when the quest was originally out there, when i first did the staff quest..he *did* say plaguebringer beads. They changed it at some point i guess.

the sarnak farsight crystal i have found drops off the Sarnak reaver *not sure on the spelling* It has dropped several times as for the silk the only thing i have been able to have drop off the spiders in kaesora is the stump I have killed every spider multiple times so if anyone know where it is that is all i need to complete it. please let me know

I found farsight crystal in sarnak fortress in lake of ill omen while camping for chokadai prod...came off a random sarnak..If I remember correctly it was lore but not nodrop..too bad I destroyed it didn't know it was rare

I have yet to meet or read of anyone completing this quest. Dont know who came up with the 5 hour time mark to do it....and rating of the quest as average since no one has the spell yet to test it out.
I have been trying to do the quest for the last 2 months..and like most, have not been able to get the *rare* (almost non-existant) healer silk or find the sarnak farsight crystal.
I still think this quest must be broken.

Somewhere along the way some person said this quest took goblin beads and all the other web sites mindlessly copied it from the original incorrect one.
It does not require goblin beads, it requires sarnak farsight crystal.
If anyone knows where to find sarnak farsight crystal, or how exactly to get strathbone heal silk (i've killed dozens of healer spiders with no success) please post it.

Go into Kaesora. Take a map and an evacer.
Kill "strathbone healers". They're spiders.
Loot the lore item "strathbone silk". Not only is it what they're looking for, you can target someone and rightclick the (lore item, dangit) and it will cast a light heal on the target. One charge.
