This group mission is the third in a series of five. It begins with Daemon Darkdawn (click for map image) on the Barren Coast, located at approximately 745, -625, on top of a large hill.

    Pre-requisites for Requesting:
    - Completion of "Sunstone Savages"
    - Completion of "Altar Call"

At the end of the previous task, you saw:

Daemon Darkdawn says, "Well did you find any booty? Or anything worth smashing to bits? I'm certain you killed a few more of those goblins as well didn't you? Some kind of Altar you say? Well this is interesting, I'm sure Brynden will want to hear about this."

Brynden doesn't have anything new to say, and Daemon offered no [keyword], so just say "interested" to request this task.

You say, 'I'm interested in more'

Daemon Darkdawn says 'Har! Yer not too bad fer a landlubber! You've bashed them red goblins up good, but I ain't done with them yet. It's time you went out there and took the head off the leader of the water goblins.'

You have been assigned the task 'The Tidewater Clan Goblins'.

Daemon has asked you to get a measure of revenge upon the Tidewater goblin clan on Suncrest Isle for the murder of his crew and destruction of his ship. He wants nothing less than the head of their king. Book passage on one of the Freetide Merchant ships to get to Suncrest Island. Once you are on the island, you will be able to leave using the longboat.

Purchase tickets to Suncrest Isle and catch the boat 0/1 (Barren Coast)

Dockmaster Weatherby says 'You look like you've been at sea on a dangerous mission for a while? Perhaps you plan to head back out, in which case you're going to need to purchase another ticket before boarding the Isabeau.'

Buy a "Seafarer's Ticket: Suncrest Isle" from any of the Dockmasters along the coastline and keep it in your inventory. When the ship docks, step onto it and wait for it to sail out to the Buried Sea. Upon zoning, you'll find yourself in an instanced version of the island.

Kill 25 Tidewater goblins 0/25 (Suncrest Isle)

Kill any 25 "a Tidewater _____" mobs on the southern half of the island.

Kill the High Priest of the Tidewater Clan 0/1 (Suncrest Isle)

"Tidewater High Priest" resides in the first big underwater temple down the right tunnel (one of the side rooms at the bottom of the tower). He doesn't spawn until this task step opens. Be careful when pulling him, as he will run into the wall and warp out of the room.

It hits for a max ~1,600 and has ~88,000 hitpoints. It can be stunned.

Tidewater High Priest has been slain by _____!
Tidewater High Priest's corpse says 'We are born from the sea and shall return to the sea in death.'
Your faction standing with Tidewater Goblins has been adjusted by -6.
Your faction standing with King Tondra has been adjusted by -3.

Kill the King of the Tidewater Clan 0/1 (Suncrest Isle)

"King Tondra" is the tougher of the two. He is found in the last room of the palace (this is the largest of the underwater complexes - located due east of the first one). He hits for a max ~2,000; has ~130,000 hitpoints; and casts two spells:

Dark Gust: Single Target, Cold (-350)
    1: Decrease Hitpoints by 4000
    2: Shadowstep

Sleetsheer: PB AE 200', Cold (-350) (cast every 20 seconds)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 600
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 600 per tick
    3: Decrease AC by 90

At about 65%, he summons up an air elemental pet named "Wind" which appears at the king's spawn point and auto-aggros. At about 50%, a second add called "Rain" spawns at the same spot and auto-aggros. These adds each hit for a max ~1,300; has ~90,000 hitpoints; and are stunnable and mezzable.

King Tondra says 'The waves of Prexus shall crush you!' (on aggro)

King Tondra says 'Come air slave! Send intruder to its grave!' (first add)

King Tondra says 'Appear servant of the waves! Still more to send to their graves!' (second add)

King Tondra has been slain by _____!
King Tondra's corpse says 'We are born from the sea and shall return to the sea in death.'
Your faction standing with King Tondra has been adjusted by -50.
Your faction standing with Tidewater Goblins has been adjusted by -250.

Make sure you loot the "Amulet of the Risen Tide" from the King's corpse, as it is used as a key in the next two tasks.

Speak with Daemon Darkdawn 0/1 (Barren Coast)

Near the zone-in area is a rowboat that you can click to port you back to the Buried Sea:

You get into the longboat and row out. You are quickly picked up by one of the many merchant ships sailing the waters of the Buried Sea and delivered safely to the dock on Jardel's Hook...

Return to Daemon Darkdawn in the Barren Coast:

    You say, 'Hail, Daemon Darkdawn'

You have succeeded in killing the leader of the Tidewater goblins. Daemon almost appeared cheerful when he heard the news. Almost.

    Rewards:
    - Doubloons (number varies)
    - Faction with Blacksail Smugglers (+25)

    An Extra Bit

In this instanced zone zone, in the Sunstone Goblin's crystal room (same as previous task) is a skeleton named "Marnek the Burning Lich". This mob is part of the task No Small Thing, but is actually encountered in a separate instanced zone after that task. It is unknown why this mob appears here, and it isn't necessary to kill as part of this task.

If you want to engage it, though: It's Level 80, hits for a max ~1,750; has ~450,000 hitpoints; is immune to all crowd control; and has a few spells in its arsenal:

Marnek the Burning Lich says 'You are mine now, _____. Destroy your former allies!'
Marnek the Burning Lich begins to cast a spell. <Flame's Embrace>
Marnek the Burning Lich begins to cast a spell. <Nimbus of Flame>

Flame's Embrace: Single Target, Chromatic (-475)
1: Charm up to level 0
2: Increase Hitpoints by 20000 per tick
3: Increase Corruption counter by 8
5: Increase Max Hitpoints by 20000

Nimbus of Flame: Self 0', Fire (0)
1: Increase Curse Counter by 25
2: Increase Damage Shield by 500

    He also casts "Burning Death":

Burning Death: Single Target, Fire (-450)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1200 per tick
2: Increase Corruption counter by 8

Marnek the Burning Lich says 'You have destroyed my life's work! Now I shall destroy you!'

Marnek the Burning Lich has been slain by _____!
Marnek the Burning Lich's corpse falls to the ground, flames still dancing about the bones.
Your faction standing with Drowned Dead has been adjusted by -1.
Your faction standing with Blacksail Pirates has been adjusted by 1.
Your faction standing with Galigaba has been adjusted by 1.
Your faction standing with Sharpeye's Reef Runners has been adjusted by 1.

Priest is in one of the side room at the bottom of the tower that the bridge leads to. It did not appear to spawn until that step appearred.

The king is in an underwater building further out to sea behind that same tower.

He spawns adds called Wind followed by Rain (25%?) when I fought him.

The king dropped an Amulet of the Risen Tide.... be sure you loot it as you will need it in a later tasks (task 4 & 5 in this series).

Rain also spawns at King's spawn point WITH Wind.
    Un-paciable & resists snare & root.

Didn't see a key of any kind on Wind.
