 This group task follows the task 'Running Rum' and begins with Macon Teach, who is located at approximately +200, +3085 on the island of Jardel's Hook in the Buried Sea.

Upon completion of the previous task:

Macon seems satisfied with the rum you have brought him. He asks if you would like to [search] for a way to deal with Sharpeye?

You say, 'I'd like to search for a way'

You have been assigned the task 'Sharpeye's Folly: Reduce his numbers'.

Macon Teach says 'Ha! Right on the money! I had ye figured fer a greedy dog. Take the ship to the island and see what ye can find.'

Purchase tickets to Blacksail Folly and catch the boat (The Buried Sea)
Kill 25 pirate recruits (Blacksail Folly)
Return to the canoe (Blacksail Folly)
Report your success to Macon Teach (The Buried Sea)

Kill 25 of the pirate recruits (any pirate outside the fort) and zone out via the canoe.

When done, hail Macon.

You say, 'Hail, Macon Teach'

Macon Teach believes that the removal of the recruits is just the first step in dealing with Sharpeye. He asks if you would like to [search] for a more direct way to deal with Sharpeye?

Rewards include a positive faction hit to Blacksail Smugglers and a number of doubloons. After you complete the last task in this series, this becomes repeatable.
