This is not a task.

Head Attendant Haestus speaks of various artifacts that may be of use to you..

Trader Hyalunes sells a 10-slot container called "Pottery Sealant" for 10 Orux. You must have at least indifferent faction with Combine Empire Merchants in order to purchase it.

Dusty pottery pieces result from Katta Castrum tasks.
Polished pottery pieces result from Thalassius tasks.
Worn pottery pieces result from Zhisza tasks.
Smudged pottery pieces result from Silyssar tasks.

The cracked and smooth urn handles result from various Katta Castrum tasks.

Round 1 of Combines in the Pottery Sealant:

Dusty Urn Fragment
Dusty Pottery Chip
Dusty Pottery Fragment
Dusty Pottery Piece
Dusty Pottery Shard
Dusty Pottery Splinter

Worn Urn Fragment

Tsaph Katta's Urn of Rejuvenation
Cracked Urn Handle
Smooth Urn Handle
Dusty Urn Fragment
Polished Urn Fragment
Smudged Urn Fragment
Worn Urn Fragment

This results in "Tsaph Katta's Urn of Rejuvenation", which can be recharged by handing it into the Head Attendant next to Tsaph Katta's side in Katta Castrum (in the top of the temple reached via one of the portals on the main floor):

This item is made as noted (currently) in the outline above.

However, missing from the outline are the "Related Tasks."

It is the related tasks that award you all the pieces.

While each task "can" offer you any of a reward set (re: "Smooth"), the rewards are offered progressively as reward options.

In short, if you do Task A you basically only have 1 option for a "smooth" piece. Then, afterwards, if you do Task B of the same set, you will have 2 options for 2 diff "smooth" pieces. One of them being the same as before. As you do each task, you are offered more and more options.

Be warned however, you can't do the same task repeatedly to increase the options. The options only expand when you do different tasks of the same series (i.e.: smooth).

Any Way the task sets are as follows:

DUSTY
-----

Herb Retrieval
Parvus #1: The Serpent Slayer
Parvus #3: Beheading the Snake
Renegade Servants
Storms of Magic

POLISHED
--------

Cavernous Reconnaissance
Exploring the Chambers
Inconsequential Restoration
Reacquiring Control
The Incursion

WORN
----

Adapting to the Environment
Adapting to the Environment II
Retrieving the Lost Knowledge
Snakes on the Plain
Zhisza Cipher

SMUDGED
-------

Remnants of a Lost Civilization
Remnants of a Lost Civilization II
The Eye in the Sky
Seeking Revenge
Death Sentence

CRACKED URN HANDLE
------------------

Library Heist

SMOOTH URN HANDLE
-----------------

Parvus #2: Battling the Shissar

i recently looked into this item after someone told me it is a 2k hp buff ... in my rarely humble opinion , i must say this is a total waste of time. the stacking on it prevents like half of eq's classes using this when they are gunna take on a named mob , and the 5 charge thing makes it so that you would obviously not use it except when on named , unless you wish to run to katta every hour or so ...
then it isnt a hp buff at all ,its a 2k rune .... that is beyond useless lol. rune casting classes get better runes that this wont even stack with ...and non runing classes can heal themselves or even lifetap for more then this in less amount of time haha .. if it was instant cast then that would be a saving grace .. but it isnt so...

and last but not least , the truely retarded part of this effect , is a 1k spell-damage shield tied to a 2k rune lol ...hrmmm ..... why not just give someone a 1k damage shield 1 hit effect like druids wrath of the wild ? because we all know that a 100% damage absorption 2khp rune is gunna get ate up in 1 cast of a spell 99% of the time , or else you'll just resist the spell all together and thus no damage will be given by the shield ... AND others yet would say that u could use this before or after runes or anything else , but the 30 second duration of the buff prevents that for the most part.the basis of this item is nice , and might eventually lead to something nice (cough cough ancient faycite resonance barrier) but this item itself sucks a fat one.

there might be 1 or 2 uses that this could be put to , indeed there are very few items that are 100% useless , but for the time and effort of obtaining this item , the best thing it could be used for is linking it to someone and saying "hey look what i got"

Not on Combine Empire Merchants

Anyone know what faction it takes to do this? I am ally to combine empire mechants and yet am apprehensive to all the clowns in the temple. They don't mind giving me tasks but the head dork will not sell me the sealant. The tasks only raise merchant faction so they will not help and I have done nothing to get bad faction from these npcs.

What does Tsaph Katta's Urn of Rejuvenation do for me?

According to the above text Tsaph Katta's Urn of Rejuvination has this property: Deep Stasis

Slot Description
1: Increase Absorb Damage by 2000
2: Increase Hitpoints v2 by 500 per tick
11: Spell-Damage Shield(-1000)

with five charges, each of which last for five ticks, and as noted in information posted below, it can be recharged with relative ease. Per the spell details on Allakhazam, it has a cast time of 3.00 (I presume seconds (pretty long for the benefit here) a recast time of 13 (seconds, ticks, minutes?) and is interruptable.

Now here are my questions:

1. I would interpret the "Increase Absorb Damage by 2000" to be a rune type of thing. Does the spell go away when 2000 damage has been absorbed? This could be one hit from many mobs.

2. Does Increase "Hitpoints v2 by 500 per tick" stack with player cast Heal Over Time spells like those from other players, or from Distillate of Celestial Healing X, over write it, or get blocked by it?

3. "Spell-Damage Shield(-1000)" is a total mystery to me. Is this a damage shield of the spell cast on me type like Distillate of Skin Spikes which damages an attacker? (if so, how much damage does the attacker receive from this damage shield per hit) Or is it a damage shield which protects me against damage caused by spells?

4. Does it really use 300 mana as stated elsewhere on Allakhazam?

5. Does this spell icon show up in my short duration buff box, or in the longer duration buffs box?

This is kind of nifty, but the amount of work that goes into it is almost as much as the work that went into The Skull of Den Lord Rakaban quest from DODH. That had a hugely beneficial clicky of +50 to fire/cold/magic/poison/disease which lasted for over 30 minutes, an obvious major benefit. Am I missing something here? Is this item the kind of thing that will provide just the right amount of ooommph to win a particular raid, or many raids, or a dud of a gift from SONY? Does it get used in some quest that no one knows about yet? Is it a key for something?

I don't mind doing the quest because the experience is pretty good, and I like clickies, but not everyone will want to do this quest for a 3K HOT/2K Rune and some kind of obscure Spell-Damage Shield.

There are TSS quested Druid armor pieces (Venesh`s Purevine Tunic and Bark-Inlaid Leather Tunic) which have "Spell-Damage Shield(-980)" as part of their cliky effect. Little information is posted regarding this effect. The overall armor piece did receive a bad review, so the reviewer was not impressed with the cliky, or so it would seem.

The description just comes form the rune spell itself.
It does not use 300 mana.
The item itself however, won't let you recast for 43 minutes.

It is a rune. It goes into your main buff window. After 2000 damage, it is gone.
It does come with the nice ae agro side effect when mobs hit you while it is on.

It was only a single charge when it went in. But it sucks so bad, they thought making is 5 charges would encourage people to do it.
With a 43 min recast time though, it's still pretty useless.
Very very few people have even bothered to do the quest.

These are good questions. I wish someone who's actually completed this quest could answer them with confirmed information.

This item has the potential to be either really useful or a complete waste of time, depending on those answers.

Seeking Revenge; task yields the smudged pottery shard, once done it opens the next task; Death Sentence, was said to be bugged donno if it has been fixed
But is it Rechargable ??

That is the big question. If it's not rechargeable then it seems to me to be a major time sink not to mention sucking up a lot of bank space for basicly nothing.

Wish I had a dollar for every time I've seen a post like this... Yay.. thanks for telling us it's rechargeable... and since you obviously speak as if you know 100% certain it does... do you mind maybe telling us how to recharge it??

Thanks in advance...

smudged urn fragment is not confirmed to exist and is not in lucy's database as of yet.

The Urn itself is a theory even though it is in lucys database until confirmed those two items are just theory.
