This solo task becomes available by completing 'Atiiki Tongue Twisting'.

Upon completion of the previous task:

Noble Sivrn says 'You have done well to learn correct pronunciation of the sphinx names, I am sure that you would be honored to speak with them. Or, perhaps, to [play] a game with them?'

You say, 'I will play a game with them'

Noble Sivrn says 'Many of the sphinx enjoy various games, riddles, and puzzles... I believe that Mahatototarit is looking for some challengers for his puzzles North of the Great Pyramid, if you are [interested].'

You say, 'I am interested'

Noble Sivrn says 'I wish you luck in solving the puzzle, I understand it is quite difficult.'

You have been assigned the task 'Order Squared'.

You say, 'Hail, Mahatototarit'

Mahatototarit glances away from the game board, do you not find [puzzles] fascinating?

You say, 'Yes, I find puzzles quite fascinating, I solved Noble Sivrn's task, afterall!'

Mahatototarit says 'I enjoy puzzles of all types, and often at the same time... Perhaps I could interest you in a game of [alignment] or [order]?'

You say, 'How about a game of order'

Mahatototarit says 'Bring me a Token of Order, and you may attempt to bring order to my Southern game board.'

The tokens drop in the pyramids from random Efreeti mobs. They are marked as QUEST ITEM and are tradable.

Mahatototarit says 'Once I reorder the board you may begin, return to me when you are [done] ordering the board... To bring order you must remember that Azia loves the South as much as Dena loves the West, while Meda despises Dena, and Paza has has deserted the Northeast leaving it barren.'

Speak with Mahatototarit about puzzles
Solve the game of order
Report your success to Noble Sivrn

((SPOILER))

Order the board by placing it in alphabetical order on the board with A (Azia) being in the southwest Corner and M (Meda) being in the southeast corner. The southernmost row should look like M, I, E, A, from East to West. and the Westernmost row should look like A, B, C, D, from
South to North.

You say, 'I'm done'

Mahatototarit says 'Quite impressive, very few have managed to solve that puzzle.'

You say, 'Hail, Noble Sivrn'
You gain experience!!

Experience was ~116% AA at level 75 with 100% towards AA.

TASK #3 -- ORDER SQUARED

1) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: Head back to Noble Sivrn, if you aren't all ready there.

Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "I am interested" to get the task called, "Order Squared."

This entire task takes place in this zone.

.

2) You now need to acquire at least two Token of Order (Magic, Weight 0.1), one (1) for this task, and one (1) for the final task.

This is a random drop in the zone (mostly inside the Pyramids).

They are tradable and you do not have to loot it. You just need it for a hand in.

You only need one. However... if you mess up step three (below), you will need another one to restart Step 3 (you do not have to start the task again).

.

3) You are looking for Mahatototarit (Level 80) (same one from the first task).

Hail and follow along or just try saying "Order."

Mahatototarit will ask for a Token of Order. Hand it over.

.

4) Just south, are a number of "Efreeti" type NPC's standing in a four-by-four section of rock squares (much like a checker board).

There are fifteen Level 75 Efreeti and sixteen squares.

The goal is to put them in the right order (in the right row and in the right square).

This is accomplished by simply hailing any one of them (they can be hailed from a good distance) and they will move to an open square.

However, if the open square is not up, down, left or right of them, they cannot move (no diagonal moves allowed).

The best way I can tell you to win this (move them about), is by working in circles and rotations.

So, take your time... and you will need to get them in the following order (position yourself west of the board and face east):

<Empty> Ozah Neza Meda

Lena Kala Jaka Izah

Heda Geza Fana Ena

Dena Caza Beza Azia

.

5) After you figure this out, go back and say "I am done" to Mahatototarit.

.

6) Head back to Sivrn.

Hail him to complete the task and get about 1 AA in XP!

gaaaa

took the puzzle generator after having no clue how to solve the last part. Puzzle generator said what I supposed: riddle is unsolvable!

So wasted "Order of Token", so take care and check it if there is a solution. SoE should work a bit on their algorithms!

Don't know so far how to change it again, assuming that I have to spend again a "Token" for mixing the Djinnies again :(

I hate these bugs

The writers of that puzzle solver should work on their algorithm. It said mine was unsolveable, too, but I solved it. The truth is, you can't make one of those 16 square puzzles unsolveable. It's impossible. There is always a way. It can be tricky, but it's there.

took me 26 minutes, very proud, try to move then in circles, and get things like, A and B next to each other, and rotate them in a circle together, already in place, that's the tactic i used and it seemed to have worked very well

Ok now if anyone else is like me and dislikes spending a lot of time on puzzles like this, also known as push tile puzzles, I reccomend you go to the following: http://www.geocities.com/abcmcfarren/math/tile.htm
This site is the solution to the 15 square push tile puzzle. This is precisely the same puzzle here. Just think of A-O as being the numbers 1-15. This should help any who are having problems immensely.

THIS WAS PERFECT. If you look at the puzzle with your camera near the pyramid next to it, and replace the numbers with the letters, its perfect.

At first I thought this was helpfull, until I got to 13-15, M-N-O. Everytime I got to this point 2 of the letters were reversed and has caused me great annoyance trying to get them reconfigured

Further research shows that this is an unsolvable variant, bad luck of the draw when Mahatototarit randomizes the board.

Not the case... there is never an unsolvable version, though I can tell you you where standing on the wrong side of the board. I did this my first time and you can get into an unsolvable situation that way, but on the same puzzle if you move to the side you are to be on (standing on the east side of the board, to where if you are looking at the board your back is to the pyramid and you are facing the sand wall, sphinx off to your right) the puzzle is then solvable.

If you're facing east, on the hill with the Djinn in front of you with the pyramid behind them you want them in Reverse alphabetical order

Ignore the dots below, they are there to help with formating.

. . E
N + S . <-- Compass
.. W

[ ] . O . N . M

.. L . K . J .. I

.. H . G . F . E

.. D . C . B . A

Use the first leter of the mobs name as the letter above, you hail the npc and they move to the empty spot, it takes some time and effort but keep playing with them and you'll get it. Once they are in this order go back to Mahatototarit and say 'Done' and it will complete that part of the task and send you back to Noble Sivrn.

Hope this helps some.

Mugzie... That makes perfect sense to me, and I haven't tried it yet, but surprised I guess that I hadn't seen it before. I wasn't thinking laterally, Contained in my theory that it had to be A in the SE corner. A in the SW corner. Thanks. I'll try it.

Maybe this quest accepts multiple solutions. I'm pretty sure that the one I succeeded with yesterday was:

ONM_
LKJI
HGFE
DCBA

Which seems right for the A, D, and E 'rules', but not for the placement of the empty P spot.
So how does this riddle work?

(yes, the text actually says "Paza has has deserted")

So if this these are the clues, how do you go about ordering the board? I've tried alphabetical starting with "azia" in the southeast (loves south) going west to Dena on the west side (as much as dena loves the west), Ena just north of Dena ordering back east to Heda, Izah just north of Heda ording west to Lena, north to Meda (opposite corner as Dena?), then back west with Neza and Ozah, leaving the northeastern square empty, so that it looks like this:

M N O
L K J I
E F G H
D C B A

This was unsuccessful. When I had attained this, I returned to Mahatototarit, said done, and she responded with:
"Your solution is incorrect, perhaps you should give up..."

What am I doing wrong?

If that's the case, how does "P" end up in the northeast "vacant" location? If you're correct, that would mean that P would be in the northwest corner, and he's supposed to be in the northeast.

also drop from Efreeti in the field. Tokens of Order or Allignment can drop off any Efreeti in the zone but they drop more often in the instances like mission Knowledge of Power. Completion of Order leads into Sivrn #4 Alignment completion of Alignment leads into Sivrn #5 Broken Lines, reward for alignment is experience, I have not solved Broken Lines yet but Sivrn says he will give you "a token" if you win and retain your sanity.
