This solo task begins with Brynden Snow, who is located in the Barren Coast near -225, -100 (middle of the zone).

    You say, 'Hail, Brynden Snow'

Brynden Snow says 'Hail! What brings you to this forsaken shore? If you're looking for adventure, that's easily enough found out on the Buried Sea. This place is for traders and fisherfolk. Me, I'm a trader. I don't have anything for sale, getting goods out here is far too difficult. But I'm interested in [obtaining] a few items. All I have to do now is figure out what those items might be.' Brynden smiles.'

    You say, 'Obtaining what items?'

Brynden Snow says 'There are a number of things that hold my interests in the direction of Suncrest.'

One of the five tasks he offers is 'Mapping Suncrest Ridge'.

You have been assigned the task 'Mapping Suncrest Ridge'.

Brynden has been aiding Daemon Darkdawn in exchange for favors, and now Daemon has finished mapping all of The Buried Sea. He is only missing Suncrest Ridge and would really like someone to make the trek for him. Help Brynden assist Daemon by mapping Suncrest Ridge.

Explore the combine ruins - The Buried Sea

-1310, -2275 (along the beach near the ruins)

Explore the graveyard of wood and stone - The Buried Sea

    -60, -3040

Explore the lake of steam and fire - The Buried Sea

    -780, -3080

Explore the seething volcano - The Buried Sea

    -975, -3270

Explore the coral bridge - The Buried Sea

    -1335, -3310

Speak with Brynden Snow - Barren Coast

    You say, 'Hail, Brynden Snow'

Your task 'Mapping Suncrest Ridge' has been updated.

Now that the map is complete, Brynden will be of service to Daemon.

Your faction standing with Blacksail Smugglers got better.
You have successfully been granted your reward for: Mapping Suncrest Ridge

For those who like the numbers without all the other garbage.

Combine ruins - Neg 1312, Neg 2276 (along the beach near the ruins)
    then east to:

    Coral Bridge - Neg 1334, Neg 3308

    Seeting Volcano - Neg 977, Neg 3272

Waterfall - Neg 779, Neg 3080 (at the top of the waterfall where the water comes out of the ground/rock)

    Graveyard - Neg 60, Neg 3040

There are a few see invis around...just have SoE or a mount and keep running..they are slow.

A favorite quest at the moment of MQ users. The really dumb ones are warping, but some actually are running the same loop, and half warping to and from the quest npc.

Hands down, for druids, best repeatable task in EQ.

Two and a half minutes to complete, 4 blues of AA xps per trip (at level 70). I Average 1 AA every 15 minutes.

    All you need:
    1) know all the way-points
    2) fast PC & connection
    3) handy /afk Bard providing bard speed (or a fast horse)
    4) bind in front of Brynden Snow (the task giver)
    5) Secondary Recall near one of the way-points. (saves long run from druid ring)

Our bard stayed afk near the task giver in Barren Coast. We also have other classes with us that could gate back to the task giver. We simply zephyred them to the Buried Sea druid ring rather than porting the group. We didn't want to strand the friendly bard out there.

    Cheers!

p.s. Our level 65 toons ARE able to get this task.

My druid was unable to get this task until level 65.

2 1/2 minutes to complete is pretty darned good, I spend that much time just zoning and the task takes about 6 minutes to complete.

Here is a run thru of how I did it:

Got the quest, a ticket and cast levi and invis on myself. Then sailed to Buried Sea.

Headed east after debarking the ship. Went past the center isle that has the whirlpool and to the center east island (Suncrest Isle). After I hit the western edge of the isle, I veered south abit towards some ruined towers. I got the trigger for "combine ruins" at -1220, -2235. I then continued east till I got to the foot of the "coral bridge". Trigger was at -1334, -3308. Then I headed north towards the waterfall/lava fall. The "seething vocano" trigger was at -977, -3272. Then I headed to the top of the waterfall...the "steaming lake" trigger was at -854, -3079. Then headed northwest to a stone structure that had sunstone mobs in it (there was a see-invis inside). No need to enter structure, I floated over the top and trigger for "graveyard" was at -67, -2777. After that, headed back to pier.

    Good luck to you.
