That's all you get for this quest. Just some faction, in case you wrecked yours. Btw, my character's race was a troll, and Glob didn't eat the items.
Also, as mention by other users, you need to have messed up faction in order to actually gain any faction from this quest.

Glob is a troll found near the Neriak gate (/loc?). He may give this quest only to trolls who have become KoS to the Indigo Brotherhood (need confirmation as to whether other races can receive this). You say, 'Hail, Glob' Glob says 'Well, well, brother Troll. I'm glad to see yu have decided to join us again at last. As yu can see, we are in da midst ub trubling times, what with having been driven from our homelands ub Grobb. No matter, da Frogloks will pay for der insolence above all else. But yu, yu seem distraught, and I have heard word that yu are not on favorable standings with our dark elven hosts. They have set me upon dis forest to aid any ub our brethren who seek to prove that dey are not a threat to da dark ones in dese caves. Are yu looking to prove dat yu are not a threat so dat yu may enter and speak in your guild hall?' You say, 'I am looking to prove that I am not a threat.' Glob says 'Gud to hear, da dark ones will be pleased when yu have proven yur loyalty to da dark ways. To do dis, yu will need to retrieve a few things dat show yu are evil at the core, but not when it comes to our hosts. Yu must travel to Nagafen's lair and seek out da sonic bats, for der screams pierce da heart and cause great distress. Tried Illusion:Troll and although i got in a ways he ate the 4 bats blood and yelled at me...This quest seems to be ONLY for a TROOL that has MESSED UP FACTION by indiscriminate killing of the wrong factioned mobs INDIGO BROTHERHOOD . I so wish it had worked though....

Turn in the 4 bat bloods as any race but a Troll and he will eat them and yell at you... The race check must be in the hard code as he ate them when I tried an Illusion:Troll turn in.
So as far as I can tell (but hopefully I am wrong), if you are not a Troll to start, cannot complete this quest. If anyone has found a way around this, PLEASE let me know, I would be most appreciative. Thanks
