This series of tasks is available during the Christmas season, starting in 2006.

/loc of a Frostfell Goblin?

You say, 'Hail, a Frostfell Goblin'

a Frostfell Goblin says '[Happy Frostfell]! If you are looking for things to do, you can try speaking to Santug or Hargar. If you have helped us complete tasks for Frostfell, I can also upgrade your [stocking].'

You say, 'Happy Frostfell!'

a Frostfell Goblin says 'Frostfell is a season of happiness, giving and resolutions. During this season all races of Norrath celebrate it in their own way. During the season, Santug will give out Frostfell gifts and on the final week, each major city will celebrate with a great feast and fireworks!'

You say, 'What about my stocking?'

a Frostfell Goblin says 'If you have one, hand me your stocking and I will see how good you have been and maybe give you a better one! Be sure your stocking is empty when you hand it to me!'

Hand in your stocking:

a Frostfell Goblin says 'You deserve a new stocking for helping us out during Frostfell! Here, you've earned it!'

After each Christmas Quest is completed, hand in Santug's Stocking to get an upgraded version:

1st - 2 slot Santug's Stocking
2nd - 4 slot Santug's Stocking (40% weight reduction)
3rd - 6 slot Santug's Stocking (60% weight reduction)
4th - 8 slot Santug's Stocking (80% weight reduction)
5th (final) ~ 10 slot Santug's Stocking (100% weight reduction)

There is a Frostfell Goblin in Cresent Reach at the bottom of the stairs just before going in to the merchant area. Along with Santug Claugg and a gnome frostfell NPC.

+264, +302 in Plane of Knowledge. He's next to a rock by Santug. This is between the Main bank and the Brewing area.

This quest is working fine. I did it tonight on two characters. Here's my progression:

1. Completed "Searching for Clues" and "Saving Santug" to receive the initial 2-slot Santug's Stocking. I did these two quests last week (i.e. prior to the last patch which brought Santug Claugg and Hargar the Velium Chef back to PoK).

2. Completed "Santug's List" and gave the 2-slot Stocking to the Frostfell Goblin in PoK and received the 4-slot Stocking.

3. Completed "A Gift for Tinam" and gave the now 4-slot Stocking to the Frostfell Goblin and received the 6-slot Stocking.

4. Completed "Fireworks" and gave the now 6-slot Stocking to the Frostfell Goblin and received the 8-slot Stocking.

5. Completed "Fishing for a Feast" and gave the now 8-slot Stocking to the Frostfell Goblin for the final 10-slot, 100% weight reduction Stocking.

Note: You can substitute "Baking for a Feast" for "Fishing for a Feast" if you want.
Don't have to do fireworks

You don't have to swap the Fishing for Cooking, you can do both and rule out the fireworks. Just did that and have a 10 slot 100% WR. If you don't want to do fireworks, you can do cooking & fishing and it'll work.

Quest is working fine for me. After the first quest was completed ( I did the Santug list) and spoke to the goblin and he gave me the initial bag. The 2nd turn-in was ok and goblin upgraded the bag after I handed it to him. Same on the 3rd turn-in as well. Working on #4 for now. Will update as the quest continues.

4th turn-in ok. Completed the clock-work dolly quest. Stocking hand-in to goblin ok and received upgraded the 8 slot 80% WR bag (stocking).

Completed 5th turn-in ok and received the 10 slot 100%WR bag (stocking). Woot, all ok with quest.

Christmas 2006 is not actually a part of the task name -- but the related tasks are as follows:

1) Frostfell - Searching for Clues
2) Frostfell - Saving Santug
3) Upgrading Stockings (get 20% Stocking)

1 leads to 2 which leads to 3.

#3 is not an actual task -- it's more of a quest.

Anyway -- #1 to #3 must be done relatively soon after the task givers appear, as within a week, or you will miss out on them after Santug is saved.

The next ones can be done in any order (or at the same time). just be sure to turn in your Stocking after each one for the upgrades stocking (40&, 60%, 80% and then 100%.

Before you do any of the below, go ahead and trade up your stocking again (40%). Then the remaining tasks are:

Frostfell: A Gift for Tinam
Frostfell: Fireworks
Frostfell: Santug's List

The Frostfell: Fishing for a Feast did NOT allow me a stocking upgrade, so I assume the Chef tasks are not part of the tasks allowed for stocking upgrades.

Doing the Baking task allowed me to take my stocking from 80% to 100%. Another guildmate did the fishing task which took his stocking from 80% to 100%. Baking task is much shorter... even starting from 0 baking skill. Took me about 2.5 hours leisurely (could have been much faster) while he spent over 5 hours doing the fishing.

If you missed the "Saving Santug" task(s), then you would need to do both fishing and baking to max out your stocking.

As of Dec. 20 (maybe before) you can get a Santug Stocking even if you did not complete the Rescue Santug quests.
