This is an overview of the 'Vergalid Mines: Vergalid's End' raid task. For more details, see the individual event listings (linked here and in the sidebar).

This raid task begins with Sergeant Kazzar in Sunderock Springs (on a plateau at around -1400, 800 -- in the southern half of the zone). You must have at least six people with you in Sunderock in order to request this task.

Pre-requisites for requesting this task are Captain Zheren's task arc as well as the Into the Leviathan's Lair task, also given by Sergeant Kazzar.

There are no prerequisites for participating in the task.

You say, 'Hail, Sergeant Kazzar'

Sergeant Kazzar says 'Our Crusade struggles to hold a basecamp here on this mesa. The fight has not been easy. Our enemies still plot and wait within the [Vergalid mines] to the east.'

You say, 'Vergalid mines?'

Sergeant Kazzar says 'You have fought long and hard against our enemies, ______. You are now ready to lead a strike force against the Dragon Vergalid. He waits for you, deep in the mines -- If you are ready to [challenge] him, that is. Perhaps you have come to see if that slithering serpent Kellak has returned to his lair? If you are, that could be arranged.. If you are [willing].'

You say, 'Challenge?'

You have been assigned the task 'Vergalid Mines: Vergalid's End'.

Venture into the Vergalid Mines and kill your way to Vergalid. Once you have confronted him, destroy the beast once and for all.

Nurtha and Vergalid have 3.5 day lockout timers. Goru Uldrock has a 2.5 day lockout timer. If you enter this zone while locked out of Nurtha and/or Goru, the locked out task steps will automatically update once you step into the area where the event NPC is located.

Enter the Vergalid Mines 0/1 (Sunderock Springs)

The entrance is located just north of the wizard spire.

Destroy Nurtha Frazzlesprocket 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)

Nurtha and her contraptions are located in a chamber a short distance from the zone-in.

Banish Goru Uldrock, the Reincarnate 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)

Goru Uldrock is located in the burial grounds.

Power the life force feeding Vergalid 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)

Kill the six Stone Protectors in the shrine room. Be advised they hit quite hard and flurry.

Destroy Vergalid 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)

This is event is activated when 6+ players approach Vergalid.

Did the whole thing solo as a 100 SK.

The CWG Gnomework Model XVII may hit for 18k, but don't let that intimidate you. He seems to swing slowly and his accuracy is terrible. I resisted every stun from the contraptions.

Pay close attention to Vergalid's banish. It wiped me the first time at about 50%. The second time, he didn't do it until about 30% but I knew what to expect. Set up an audio or text trigger for "being exiled." He spawned 3 adds the first time I engaged him but none the second. He does reset upon wipe, requiring 6 people to activate him again.

On the run back, I noted that the trash respawned. There are a lot of SI. All the trash summons, but none of the trash is flagged as raid mobs which is nice for OOC regen.

I would recommend that when you run your boxes down to Vergalid to activate him, you camp them out as soon as you get the "The ground begins to tremble beneath you." emote so you don't have to worry about them getting exiled. Vergalid's exile was the only challenging thing about this raid at level 100. The auras are a bit small to fit 6 people in, so you may want to shrink before this encounter. With sufficient DPS, you may be able to burn him down before he does it at all. I never got more than one exile per attempt.

I screwed up and didn't have Severing the Strings or The Pretender when I did this, so I guess I need to do it again.

Hello,

When you requested this raid task, did the NPC still require six people to be present in Sunderock? I am currently in the process of flagging my mains so that they can request Ashengate/FC raids for my alts.

The way it looks to me, you don't get a reward window after successful completion. Each of the 3 bosses involved has their own loot table and looks to drop multiple items. This seems like one heck of a farming event if you dig TSS raids.
One item for raid or every one get something ?

Hi can anyone tell me is there just one reward at end of this 18 person raid/event. Or does everyone get to choose an item after a successful event?
thanks .
