Artificer Pulizzi says 'Many people have many reasons to be grateful to you for [lending a hand] in such a dangerous task. I am one of them, and so I thank you on behalf of Crescent Reach and her citizens.' You say, 'Lending a hand?' Artificer Pulizzi says 'I've heard good things about you. If anyone can slip past Dyn`leth's defenses and tackle this task it's you. Keep your wits about you, friend. These monolithic monstrosities will be useless at best . . . and deadly hostile at worst.' You have been assigned the task 'Dark Guardians of Ashengate'. Pulizzi has requested that you delve into the western wing of Ashengate again, this time to search out and destroy darkshard guardians. The intense heat of the lower Reliquary has galvanized the darkshard statues. They thrive in the presence of flowing magma, which is precisely where you will find them. Eliminate 8 Darkshard Guardians 0/8 (Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale) Destroy Galvanized Guardian 0/1 (Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale) These mobs are found in the zone's west wing (the lava bridge area). Collect 1 Pulsing Obsidian Shard 0/1 (Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale) Note: This item is pre-lootable. This should read: Collect 1 Pulsating Obsidian Shard, not Loot. It IS pre-lootable. Good luck!
Confirmed, and it can be handed in as well, the first 4 steps do not need to be done in order.
Killing "a galvanized guardian" triggers "Destroy Galvanized Guardian - Ashengate, Reliquary of the Scale" complete as well.
