Ok here we go again !!!
To SAVE yourself a lot of grief, running back and forth, to collect items, it's STRONGLY advisable to get ALL of Botanist Bazuu AND Cook Idraik's quest before you do any of them.
All INFO on any of their quest (3 per NPC) are INCORRECT.
All the items you need drop off ANY Bixie in the zone so, while hunting for the heads, in 1 of Idraik's quests, which seem to only drop on 2nd floor, you will get other items also.
The drop rates vary in both number and type from mob to mob but, ANY Bixie in the zone can drop.
If after you get all the heads, you still need items, you can stay there or go to a different area of zone and kill ANY Bixie !!!
SORRY for all the confusion.
It's totally mind boggling the crap that people post on this site that have no bearing on quests!

If you are having difficulty in turning them in this task is the third step in the Cooks progression.
1. Do the WIngs for Flutter soup.
2. Do the Antennae for Touchy Feely FLan
3. Then the Bixe heads for Bixie Surprise.
It should work for you if you did these tasks in order.

There is nowhere in the task that gives an update. It says just deliver 10 Ripe bixie Heads too cook. But same here won't take heads.

I am having the same problem...wonder if it's broken or they need to be done in a certian order

I got this task on 3/19/12 it says "deliver 10 ripe bixie heads to cook idriak." it didnt update on looting and he wont take them.
