Cook Idriak may be found at -215, -1725.

You say, 'Hail, Cook Idriak'

Cook Idriak says 'Lovely day, isn't it? What I wouldn't give for some Flutter Soup! Those [pesky Bixies] have been eluding me all day, and honestly they are just delicious. I like to think of myself as something of a chef, you see. There are so many recipes out there waiting to be discovered!'

You say, 'Pesky Bixies?'

Cook Idriak says 'I know, I know. People seem to balk at the idea of actually eating the Bixies, but they just need to keep an open mind! This could be an incredible boon and practically limitless food source for Crescent Reach. Nearly every body part is edible! For instance, all I need to make a delectable soup are some [wings], or a light and fluffy flan from [antennae], and the very best new top secret recipe calls for [heads]! Now, what do you know about [jumjum refining]?'

You say, 'What wings?'

You have been assigned the task 'Nothing to Stew About'.

Cook Idriak says 'Bixie wings melt down quite nicely, if I do say so myself. I need some wings to whip up some Flutter Soup! Trust me, you will like it!'

Collect Bixie Wings from bixies in and around Stone Hive to aid Cook Idriak in his quest for Flutter Soup!

Deliver 10 Delectable Bixie Wings from bixies in Stone Hive to Cook Idriak - 0/10 (Blightfire Moors)

Head into Stone Hive and kill bixies until you loot 10 x Delectable Bixie Wing. They drop from any bixie, although the ones inside seem to have them more commonly.

Upon hand-in:

You have collected enough intact Bixie Wings to make some Flutter Soup. Return to Cook Idriak for more delicious Bixie recipes.
You gain experience!!

The reward for this task is a Honey-Touched Band.

Ok here we go again !!!
To SAVE yourself a lot of grief, running back and forth, to collect items, it's STRONGLY advisable to get ALL of Botanist Bazuu AND Cook Idraik's quest before you do any of them.
All INFO on any of their quest (3 per NPC) are INCORRECT.

All the items you need drop off ANY Bixie in the zone so, while hunting for the heads, in 1 of Idraik's quests, which seem to only drop on 2nd floor, you will get other items also.
The drop rates vary in both number and type from mob to mob but, ANY Bixie in the zone can drop.
If after you get all the heads, you still need items, you can stay there or go to a different area of zone and kill ANY Bixie !!!

SORRY for all the confusion.

It's totally mind boggling the crap that people post on this site that have no bearing on quests!

singular step is now
Deliver 10 Delectable Bixie Wings from bixies in Stone Hive to Cook Idriak - 0/10 - Blightfire Moors

There is no task update for looting, just for handing in the items after receiving the task so you could stockpile these and do it again.

First time I attempted this quest I had been killing outside of the palace to avoid adds. The drop rate on the intact bixie wings was pretty slow. Inside the first ring/hallway of the palace the drop rate is much better.

Since the halls are all curves you can use line-of-sight to assist in getting single pulls.

Both times I completed this task it auto-updated without going back to the cook.
