 This group task begins with Informant Famy in West Freeport, located at about 275, -950, -110. You may need low amiable faction with both Knights of Truth AND The Freeport Militia in order to request this. (Puppet Strings don't work here).

You say, 'Hail, Informant Famy'

Informant Famy says 'There you are! Have you [heard] what those scoundrels in the Hall of Truth are saying about you?'

You say, 'Heard?'

Informant Famy says 'I got a tip from inside. This messenger they hired found a witness to some nefarious activity that has been linked to you. You might want to [stop] him before all those self-righteous ranks descend upon you!'

You are offered a shared task called "Bounty."

You say, 'How can I stop him?'

Informant Famy says 'I hear he is inside right now. Head into the hall and give him heck! Apparently he even has a picture of you, so it might get a bit sticky. I'm sure you can handle it!'


Enter the Hall of Truth to clear your name 0/1 (West Freeport)

To zone into the instance, click on the Hall of Truth doors (PAL/CLR guild hall on northern side of West Freeport).

Kill the guards who have seen your face! 0/40 (Hall of Truth)

No faction hits

Collect incriminating Wanted posters 0/20 (Hall of Truth)

Kill the pesky messenger! 0/1 (Hall of Truth)

The pesky messenger is Messenger Erison, who roams, summons, enrages, and has a lot of HP.

Return to the informant 0/1 (West Freeport)

the /loc to the doors of the Hall of Truth is -431, -85. You can also do a Find for Kalatrina Plossen the paladin GM, it will take you right there.

Per Dev. Dzarn as of Mar. 12, 2014 you may need "BOTH Knights of Truth and The Freeport Militia" at 200 (low amiable) to get this and/or the mission "My Precious". (Note: Informant Famy will con indifferent regardless)

the pesky messenger = Messenger Erison. Roams, summons, enrages, lots of hp. He dropped 'Bauble of the Avaricious'. No chest loot.

Return to the informant (Informant Famy, near Academy of Arcane Science, 275, -944, -110)

No chest loot upon final hail.

By the time I completed the mission I had collected 40 wanted posters (so it is not necessary to clear the entire zone for either the kills or the posters).

Total time invested = 30-60 minutes.

dont do this quest, it takes hours and a waste of time, it lowers priests of marr and knights of truth faction, you are better off doing the ones that increase all. And faction seems to be the only reason any would do these quests.

hmm suppose I could list some more, you need high amiably faction with the freeport militia to get it.
It takes place in an instance called the 'hall of truth'

1. Enter the hall of truth
2. Kill 40 guards
3. Loot 20 wanted:dead or alive posters from the guards
4. Kill the pesky messenger

The messenger pops when you have achieved 2. ,near the zone in. He drops a piece of loot, A leather bracer, i forget what but it was in line with the other fp tasks about 120hp.

The factions are
steel warriors up
the freeport militia up
knights of truth down
priests of marr down

perhaps they are bigger hits than the missions that send all up, but I noticed no difference.
