At the end of the previous task, Lawwe said: Lawwe in Mourning says 'I see the past [reflected] in your eyes. You have done well, and I thank you.' You say, 'Reflected?' Lawwe in Mourning says 'It warms my heart to know you have taken an interest in our past ______.' You have been assigned the task 'Flowers for Veldyn'. You receive a Flower Collector's Box (identifies as "Lawwe has directed you to fill this with certain flowers"), a 4-slot MEDIUM container. Collect 1 Braided Shamblevine - Direwind Cliffs Collect 2 Gloom Blossom - Direwind Cliffs Collect 1 Snapping Drake Blossom - Blightfire Moors Combine the four items in the box to craft a Wreath for Veldyn. Leave the completed wreath on Veldyn's grave - Ashengate As you gingerly place the wreath on Veldyn's Grave, a chilling sigh reverberates through the chamber. Speak to Lawwe You say, 'Hail, Lawwe in Mourning' Tears well up in Lawwe's eyes when she hears that you have succeeded in your task. Lawwe in Mourning says, 'Lawwe pauses a moment[sic], obviously touched by your efforts. 'Thank you again for your time and considerate action. This task has been changed so the steps are now "Collect" instead of "Loot". This means you can collect the flowers before getting the task. It also means if you get the task (and its container) when you don't have room, you can safely destroy the container. After you have the four flowers, you can go back to Lawwe, get the quest again, and get the container at a better time.

I had precollected the 4 flowers. When I got the task, it automatically updated the 3 task stages for collection. I had the flowers in my inventory at the time I hailed for the task just to make sure.

Did the final stage of this task today in Ashengate. Correct room, North Wing left path with the ghost in it. There is a coffin in the middle of the room next to the ghost - stand next to / on it for the update. I managed to get back in there using only mez & mem blur. Had no real issues along the way, just be patient with pathing so you dont bring 3 mobs on you at once. Chanter can do this solo if they keep their wits about them, just a little terrifying is all. :)

If you loot with the right mouse button on the 2nd one it adds it to a stack and that does not update the task. You need to loot them with the left mouse button if you already have one in your inventory. It seems tasks don't check the number of items in a stack, only if the item appears in a empty slot or on your cursor. Just a heads up for people doing this.
I did the same thing and right click looted the 2nd one and got no update. I noticed it was added to a stack so got another and left click looted, blam done.On a side note this seems to still be bugged where you don't get your reward, didn't for me just now anyway even tho it said in yellow text that i was rewarded the item.
Correct, there seems to be a wonderful little bug that will not allow a task to update when the item you are looting is the 2nd or following item of a stack. However, the task can and will update one of several ways regardless:
1) Simply zone
2) Camp out completely (restart the Everquest.exe patcher)
3) Loot the bag(s) containing the item(s) stacked from your corpse
Haven't tried the left click looting thing but that makes perfect sense, will try to remember that next time I am in a situation involving this.

gloom blossoms are not updating properly when looted. you can loot one and get an update but when you loot the 2nd it doesnt count for quest. i had to petition to get it fixed and since i didnt realize it didnt update untill after i hit the combine button on the finished box of flowers and the GM's were not able to take 30 seconds to look at the next step. i now had to redo the whole quest and make a 2nd wreath. beware if you plan on doing this quest for its great items that IT IS broke currently.
The task reads "Collect" at this point in time. Not sure if that is how it has always been or if it was changed at some point. But it is collect now for sure, so you can loot items before having the task.

The grave is at 920, 415 right next to Laila the Forgotten.

The location of the graveyard is actually in the north wing on the left side. When I did it a group was clearing there in the hall so I just ran by, swung left and there's a door. Go thru the door and down the tunnel to the end. A coffin is there and the task updated when I got near it. Can suicide thru pretty easy as I know some people that did it. I just evacd once I got my update.

So I searched the entire graveyard in the East Wing and found nothing. The update for grave is not in the graveyard to East.

Strange - never saw a task unbalanced like this
loot 1 item from a lvl 25 mob
loot 2 items from lvl 71-75 mobs
loot 1 item from a raidmob
and topmost is that you must have task active and get a 4-slot-container
I hope that one day one of the devs starts to play Eq for its own and changes it from loot to combine, so that you don't need to have task and damned container unless you have all 4 items - items are nodrop - why sepcify loot in task

You can preloot quest items. The task will just update what you already have in your inventory and bank. Meaning....no need to get the container ahead of time if you feel it's such a burden.

Got this quest today with all the items already looted in bank. Quest did not auto update, but I was able to put them into the container and "combine" to get the wreath.
When i zoned, to make my way to Ashengate to see what would happen, by the time i got to Ashengate I noticed that the wreath was gone from my inventory so be careful of bugs on this. now i'll have to do it over again.

No mobs are raid mobs, all are soloable by some classes. Info states Gloom blossom drops from warriors, this is correct, but also drops from shaman. Never saw from any other mobs, despite killing quite a lot.
The Shrooms in dire proc a root, very hard to resist, got to be more than n200 that lucy's has it at.
I have also tried all over graveyard in easy, not had any update, nor in the north lava pit, carried around a lot of AG and not had any yet. Only place i've not tried is going left when travelling north, instead of right. Must try that later.

the first item drops off a level 76 to 78 mob, not a level 25 mob.

He mixed up the order. The Blightfire Moors mob is about level 25.
