Nights of the Dead: Making Candy Apples

This task was introduced in October 2006 and is available every year around Halloween.
It begins with Wicked Winnie at location 180, 275 in the Plane of Knowledge (near the main bank). You say, 'Hail, Wicked Winnie' Wicked Winnie says 'Salutations, are you enjoying the [festivities]? I know I am.' You say, 'I'm enjoying the festivities.' Wicked Winnie says 'This is my favorite time of year! Little hobgoblins running around, candy, and spooky hauntings. If I had some of my [Wicked Liquid Caramel] I could really dress up some apples. Divine!' You say, 'Wicked liquid caramel?' Wicked Winnie says 'Oh yes. Haunted Jack has some Haunted Candy Apples he is carting around, but those are nothing compared to my concoctions. Unfortunately, the caramel I use is very special and I've been so busy helping Sally out with her costumes this year that I haven't had time to [track it down].' You say, 'I'll track it down for you.' Wicked Winnie says 'Well, last time I ran across it through a gnome named Finkel. It's possible that he still has some. I believe he is doing business in Steamfont this time of year.' You have been assigned the task 'Making Candy Apples'. Wicked Winnie needs some special caramel to make tasty treats for the festivities! Collect some Haunted Candy Apples from Haunted Jack and find her special caramel in Steamfont. Return to the Plane of Knowledge for a special snack. Collect 1 Haunted Candy Apple 0/1 (ALL) This is sold (for nothing) by a merchant named Haunted Jack, found just north of Winnie in the Plane of Knowledge. Collect 1 Liquid Caramel 0/1 (Steamfont Mountains) This is sold (for nothing) by Finkel Rardobaen, who may be found near the three huts in the Steamfont Mountains: location -1235, -1465. Also a good source for Liquid Caramel is Quana Rainsparkle in Toxxulia Forest inside the hut by the PoK book (Erudin side). At least for good characters. She does not like evil worshipers such as SKs. Deliver 1 Haunted Candy Apple to Wicked Winnie (Plane of Knowledge) Deliver 1 Liquid Caramel to Wicked Winnie (Plane of Knowledge) Upon turn-in: Wicked Winnie whips up a batch of her famous Caramel-Coated Candy Apples! I just turned in the quest items, and I am able to do the quest right now. So you do not have to wait.
But yes, you do get only 5.

Maybe they changed the quest this year, but the reward listed above is not what I got for doing this quest yesterday. Below is what Winnie gave me.

Both Wicked Winnie and Haunted Jack are near the main stand-alone bank in POK.
The Haunted Candy Apples can be bought from jack for 0cp (no cost).
Finkel is in the south-east corner of steamfont (use Ak'anon stone, or a dru/wiz steamfont gate), in a gnome hut. You can buy Liquid Caramel from him, also for 0 cp.
You get 5 gummy bears, and the task is on a roughly 3 hour timer.
