 This task is the third in a series of five. It begins with Ekaterina at location -520, -930, 23 (southern edge of the lake in the eastern part of the zone).

At the end of the previous task:

Ekaterina tells you, 'Oh dear me. There seems to be no link between what has happened to my poor queen and those others. You must help me, you must! Before I can send you on such a journey, I need you to prove your strength to me. I refuse to send a young one such as you to what may be your untimely death without the reassurance that you [stand a chance] to further aid me.'

You say, 'I stand a chance.'

Ekaterina says 'Prove yourself worthy and you will not regret it.'

You have been assigned the task 'Find the Cure'.

Prove your worth by slaying the creatures.


Kill 2 dark widows 0/2 (Goru`kar Mesa)

These spiders are near the lingering dryads and rotwood tangleweeds in the western mesa.

Kill 4 murkwater oozes 0/4 (Goru`kar Mesa)

Oozes are in the Serpents River as you approach the northern bridge.

Kill 4 ring snakes 0/4 (Goru`kar Mesa)

Snakes are in the same vicinity as the murkwater oozes.

Return and speak with Ekaterina 0/1 (Goru`kar Mesa)

You say, 'Hail, Ekaterina'

Ekaterina tells you, 'Oh dear me. There seems to be no link between what has happened to my poor queen and those others. You must help me and go see Ramona. She is on top of the mesa. She must be able to help. Will you [go see Ramona]?'

Your faction standing with Nymphs of the Windwillow got better.
Your faction standing with Minohten got better.
Your faction standing with Nymphs of the Darkwater got worse.


Reward:
