I found out that you must keep the pods in "combat" mode, or they go into Out of Combat Regen. This was after the recent patch. As these don't attck, it is easy, just stay close, and have attack on. Dot it, and it dies.

Anaglass may be found in a hot spring in the center of a plateau, at -2115, -750. This task unlocks after you have completed "The Sunderock Geyser."
You say, 'Hail, Anaglass' Anaglass nods as you approach, 'Welcome, ______. You will be safe here as long as your weapons stay in their sheaths. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same of the other [springs] of Sunderock.' You say, 'What about the other springs?' Anaglass says 'With the exception of this one, the springs of this valley have been overrun by hostile elementals. I need your help to ensure these creatures do not cause any further damage!' You have been assigned the task 'The Sulfur Springs'. Anaglass explains, 'The sulfur springs to the north have always been a blight on the landscape. The bog itself is infested with oozes that leech the nutrients out of the soil to speed their budding cycle. Go to the sulfur bog and exterminate the oozes before they reproduce to erode the landscape further. The oozebuds grow within the ooze budding pods. You will need to break them open to destroy the buds inside.' 'Go now... and be careful of Balloondabloop, the great ooze in the center of the bog. He is the most volatile of them all.' Destroy 30 oozes 0/30 (Sunderock Springs) Destroy 30 oozebuds 0/30 (Sunderock Springs) Destroy Balloondabloop 0/1 (Sunderock Springs) Loot Balloondabloop's Bile 0/1 (Sunderock Springs) Deliver Baloondabloop's Bile to Anaglass 0/1 (Sunderock Springs) Each pod can spawn 2-4 oozebuds, which are very quick.
