When you first zone into PoA buy the 1cp key (veeshan?) and click on an ashtray. theres only one it will work for.
The ranger spirit is down with the other quest guys. Gordan appears by talking to the ranger spirit. be sure you give the stuff to gordan only!

The graphic of the Earring that I saw showed on charges. Are you sure this is a charged item?

Okay, this is agreeably one of the better earrings out there, but I am wondering about some more quest details.
What island is the Ranger Spirit on? Do you initiate the quest with him? Who is Gordon Treecaller, and where is he at? Do you have to initiate some sort of dialoge with him, or do you just turn the items in to him?

i heard they are taking the charges away from all plain of air quest items and replaceing them with infinate charges has anyone else heard this

They have done so if you look at the new screen shot. There is no longer any charges baking this item even better. Though careless lightning is not the gratest spell, and at lvl 51 I rarely mem it anymore, Infinite casts of it with a low refresh rate (if any) and absolutely zero mana usage would be very nice.
