Arias can be found at loc -120, -25, 15. Hail him to begin the quest and learn about "Find Path".

You say 'Hail, Arias'

Arias says, 'We found the other slaves! Not bad, my friend, not bad. No matter what happens in the mines, you should always be able to find your way back here'

Now leave Arias and find Absor, standing by the fire at loc -90, -200, 15. Hail him to learn about weapons.

You say 'Hail, Absor'

Absor says 'Hello _____. Before the slave revolt, I was forging picks and shovels. Now I'm making weapons so we can fight back. Mainly swords and spears. Simple stuff. If you give me your weapon, I can make you a better one.'

Give your weapon to Absor to continue.

Absor takes the weapon from you and begins to polish and balance it. When he hands it back to you, it scarcely resembles the decayed old thing that you were using.

Absor says, 'There you go. That should work much better.'

You receive your weapon back. Equip it and proceed to next task; finding Vahlara. She can be found at loc -80, -50, 15. Speak with her.

You say, 'Hail, Vahlara'

Vahlara says 'I'm glad you managed to escape the slave warrens in one piece. There are many [others] who were not as lucky. Here, take this armor we found on a kobold. It's not much but it should keep you safe.'

You have to equip the armor given to you for the next step to update the quest. The armor is the ARMS piece of your Gloomingdeep Kobold set.

You say, 'What others?'

Vahlara says 'We have many wounded and they need bandages. If you can find any gloomingdeep silk, bring it to me and I can make more bandages. I'll reward you with whatever burlap armor pieces I can find.'

Find Xenaida sitting by the fire close by Absor at loc -110, -205, 15 and hail her to proceed with the task.

You say 'Hail, Xenaida'

Xenaida says 'Greetings _____. I need some mushrooms to finish my healing potion for the wounded slaves. I marked the location of some mushrooms on your map. Can you bring one to me. I am rather busy here at the moment'

Find one of the Gloomingdeep Mushrooms. They're marked with dark red text on your map, at loc -200, -50, 15 and loc -195, -65, 15. Pick one up and bring it back to Xenaida.

Xenaida says, 'Thanks! Very helpful!'

Now, time to find Rytan at loc -185, -180, 14 and hail him to learn about spells.

You say, 'Hail, Rytan'

Rytan says 'Hello _____. I'm not much of a fighter myself but I can bestow the power of my god's favor. Would you like to be [blessed]?

You say, 'I would like to be blessed'

You become blessed by the protection of the gods, healing injuries.

If you are a magic-user in any shape or form, you will now receive a minor spell depending on your class.

Rytan says, 'You seem to be a bit of a caster yourself! You will find that spells and songs can greatly enhance your power. Take this and scribe it in your spell book. I can only hope it helps you against the kobold horde. As you earn money and gain experience you will fnd other powerful spells. Good luck out there!'

Now, find Prathun at loc -30, -130, 16 and hail him to learn about communication.

You say 'Hail, Prathun'

Prathun says, 'There are many members of the revolt that can aid you as you combat the kobolds. A green soldier like yourself won't last long without friends. You should talk to others and be nice to them, so they can help you succeed.'

Prathun says, 'The trick to talking to other adventurers is to be yourself and go through proper channels. No one likes a hothead who begs for coin by shouting at everyone in earshot. But if you ask nicely enough, chances are you can get others to team up with you on your adventures.'

Prathun says, 'The dangers of combat and the adventuring lifestyle can sometimes bring out the worst in people. It's important to keep a cool head and only shout when absolutely necessary.'

Prathun says, 'Good luck out there, friend. I'm sure you'll do fine.'

Now return to Arias and hail him to let him know that you've talked to everyone that had important information for you. He will in return give you the Kobold Skull Charm, the best charm item that you will have for a while.

You say 'Hail, Arias'

Arias says, 'Well done, my friend. Take this kobold skull charm. You are now ready to join ranks with the slaves and fight against the Gloomingdeep kobolds. Speak with Guar Rahtiz for your next assignment.'

You gain experience!!
