Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'I can give you a test of your tradeskill abilities in any of eleven different tradeskills. She will assign you a task dependent on your skill. The levels appear to be Beginner (50-99), Apprentice (100-149), Freshman (150-199), Journeyman (200-249), Expert (250-299), Master (300). You receive the Beginner Baker Trophy and a Freshman Baker Certificate. Equip the trophy in your PRIMARY slot, then combine the certificate by itself in a spit or oven and your trophy will evolve to a Freshman Baker Trophy. The trophies are evolving items that also evolve as you craft recipes within a certain non-trivial range (reportedly 100) above your current skill level. Once you pass into the next skill level bracket, the trophy should evolve soon afterward. The trophies can also summon weight-reducing bags like the older trophies. This is mostly in response to the 2 previous posts just in case anyone else happens to stumble over here.
All of the evolving tradeskill trophies are coded so that in order to get credit towards evolution the combine has to be higher trivial than your unmodified skill level AND your skill level has to be at the minimum range of the trophy's own level. This means that once your trophy evolves it won't start evolving to the next step until your own skill catches up, in this case when you reach 150 Baking.

I was able to evolve my trophy to the Freshman level at around 122 skill. Apparently the trophy evolves on successful combines, as that was the only time I got any "xp" on the trophy. Furthermore, the trophy will no longer advance on fish rolls (135 trivial), I suspect if I want it to evolve farther I will need to start doing combines of things that have trivials of 150+ or higher.
I believe the levels listed for the different class trophies is incorrect.My enchanter was skilling up her baking and her trophy changed from apprentice to freshman when she got to level 140 baking not 150. With her tradeskill trophy she had a modified baking skill of 145.
