 This group task is the second in a series of five (following "Find Fibblebrap 1: The Mines") and begins with Bellfast who is located in the southeastern part of Corathus Creep (vicinity of -710, +255).

You may not be able to get dialogue out of Bellfast, but you can trigger the task window with the key words "do it":

You say, 'I will do it.'

Note: There are multiple versions of this task, depending on your group's average level. The only differences are the levels/difficulty of mobs and the quality of loot.

You have been assigned the task 'Find Fibblebrap 2: Lost Caverns'.


Locate the entrance to the Caverns of the Lost 0/1 (Stoneroot Falls)

The zone-in is not marked on your compass, but can be found in the far west of Stoneroot Falls. It is most often guarded by a see invis mob, so be prepared to fight your way to the zone-in (or have someone DA/fade the mobs away).

Enter the Caverns of the Lost 0/1 (Stoneroot Falls)

LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...
You have entered Caverns of the Lost.

There are a mix of undead and live mobs, as well as random see-invis mobs in the zone, so you'll have to clear your way through. Mobs are mezzable and snareable, and respawn.

Search for Warlock Therigal's quarters 0/1 (Caverns of the Lost)

Task window says: Search for Fibblebrap's Fibblebrap gem and clues leading to Fibblebrap's disappearance.

Head towards the southwestern edge of the map. In one of the side areas is Captain Therimel and guards. As you enter the quarters you see this exchange:

Captain Therimel says, 'Step aside, scholar! The intruders have located my father's quarters. I must strike them down with his sword!'

The task then updates.

Slay Captain Therimal 0/1 (Caverns of the Lost)

Therigal's Scholar says, 'I can't let you do that, Therimel. I swore to your father that I would protect it at all costs.'

Captain Therimel says, 'Move, you old fool. I am in charge now! I will not tolerate your insolence.'

Therigal's Scholar says, 'Do with me what you must, Therimel. I will not dishonor your father by breaking my oath.'

Captain Therimel says, 'Very well, have it your way.'

The Captain then slays the Scholar and turns to you:

Captain Therimel says, 'So, you think you are worthy adversaries. How novel! We will see about that, won't we.'

Captain Therimal and two guards ("Defender of Therimel") then attack you. The Captain single-target rampages.

Captain Therimel says, 'Now you will witness the true power my father knew so little about. Fear not, peasants. I will make your deaths quick.'

You see Captain Therimel fumbling around with what looks to be a Fibblebrap Gem fragment.

You have slain Captain Therimel!
Your task 'Find Fibblebrap 2: Lost Caverns' has been updated.

Retrieve Fibblebrap's Gem Fragment from Captain Therimal 0/1 (Caverns of the Lost)

Everyone in the task receives an automatic reward, and a worn old chest spawns with one additional loot.

Finally trying to wrap up my Werewolf Skull after 5+ years off.

Had no trouble soloing this as an 86/1200 Wizard (38K HP), with a J5 tank merc. The mobs didn't hit hard enough to be a big problem (when I was getting hit), but the merc did keep a few off of me which helped not getting spells interrupted.

Pretty sure the Captain went down with one high-crit twin-casted nuke, so around 100K HP or so.
