Finally trying to wrap up my Werewolf Skull after 5+ years off.
Had no trouble soloing this as an 86/1200 Wizard (38K HP), with a J5 tank merc. The mobs didn't hit hard enough to be a big problem (when I was getting hit), but the merc did keep a few off of me which helped not getting spells interrupted.
Pretty sure the Captain went down with one high-crit twin-casted nuke, so around 100K HP or so.

This group task is the second in a series of five (following "Find Fibblebrap 1: The Mines") and begins with Bellfast who is located in the southeastern part of Corathus Creep (vicinity of -710, +255).
You may not be able to get dialogue out of Bellfast, but you can trigger the task window with the key words "do it": You say, 'I will do it.' Note: There are multiple versions of this task, depending on your group's average level. The only differences are the levels/difficulty of mobs and the quality of loot. You have been assigned the task 'Find Fibblebrap 2: Lost Caverns'. Locate the entrance to the Caverns of the Lost 0/1 (Stoneroot Falls) The zone-in is not marked on your compass, but can be found in the far west of Stoneroot Falls. It is most often guarded by a see invis mob, so be prepared to fight your way to the zone-in (or have someone DA/fade the mobs away). Location for your westkorlach.txt map file (note, NOT in-game /loc): P -1320.9314, -547.0268, 83.0051, 0, 0, 0, 2, Instance_Zone Enter the Caverns of the Lost 0/1 (Stoneroot Falls) LOADING, PLEASE WAIT... You have entered Caverns of the Lost. There are a mix of undead and live mobs, as well as random see-invis mobs in the zone, so you'll have to clear your way through. Mobs are mezzable and snareable, and respawn. Search for Warlock Therigal's quarters 0/1 (Caverns of the Lost) Task window says: Search for Fibblebrap's Fibblebrap gem and clues leading to Fibblebrap's disappearance. Head towards the southwestern edge of the map. In one of the side areas is Captain Therimel and guards. As you enter the quarters you see this exchange: Captain Therimel says, 'Step aside, scholar! The intruders have located my father's quarters. I must strike them down with his sword!' The task then updates. Slay Captain Therimal 0/1 (Caverns of the Lost) Therigal's Scholar says, 'I can't let you do that, Therimel. I swore to your father that I would protect it at all costs.' Captain Therimel says, 'Move, you old fool. I am in charge now! I will not tolerate your insolence.' Therigal's Scholar says, 'Do with me what you must, Therimel. I will not dishonor your father by breaking my oath.' Captain Therimel says, 'Very well, have it your way.' The Captain then slays the Scholar and turns to you: Captain Therimel says, 'So, you think you are worthy adversaries. How novel! We will see about that, won't we.' Captain Therimal and two guards ("Defender of Therimel") then attack you. The Captain single-target rampages. Captain Therimel says, 'Now you will witness the true power my father knew so little about. Fear not, peasants. I will make your deaths quick.' You see Captain Therimel fumbling around with what looks to be a Fibblebrap Gem fragment. You have slain Captain Therimel! Your task 'Find Fibblebrap 2: Lost Caverns' has been updated. Retrieve Fibblebrap's Gem Fragment from Captain Therimal 0/1 (Caverns of the Lost) Everyone in the task receives an automatic reward, and a worn old chest spawns with one additional loot. Zone in is near DSK shortcut/statue. Throatripper is outside the tunnel on the left side. He sees invis, but you can avoid him by coming up on the right outside part of the tunnel and hugging the wall to head in. Stay on right wall until you're across from the instance entrance (pink line on map from mapfiend). Then run for your life cuz non-named mob right outside instance entrance can see invis & will start chewing thru you pretty quick.
When done on normal, at an average level of 59.9 gear drops are:

the right location is 587, 1261, 68 at the west of the zone in the werwolves cave.
After you complete #1 and hail him all Bellfast does is thank you. No [] message key to get #2.
All you have to do is say "do it" again to Bellfast and you will get the mission selection window. You can then choose #1 or #2 from that window.

fibblebrap 2 bugged?
so.. got all the way too captain therimel.. pulled his guards out of this room.. he didn't aggro.. when i went in to kill him.. Couldn't cast on him or attack him. Would suggest that entire group follow scholar in and try to attack captain ASAP and not pull guards out, maybe that's how i bugged it.

did this again today and beat it, this time ran straight into captains room and didnt wait outside or pull outside his room. cleared the room before him of the 2 mobs. then ran straight into the captain's room and he began running through his text, while which 1 static mob in the room attacked me. Once the text was over the captain + his 2 defenders attacked me so total of 4 mobs in his room.

Bellfast gives it, I think it was called "into the mines" or something like that.
Go in, pick up gem off ground, clear the right tunnel to the alpha larvae, loot meat, clear back up, then down the left tunnel to the mech, hand the meat for the other gem.

I did this with a group (dru, war, clr, enc, mnk, rog) on 7/3/06. The zone repops, mobs are mezzable and snare/rootable. We made our way to the south western edge of the map and when we approached the room the named is in the task updated and the dialogue started. He has 2 defenders that agroed us along with the named from outside his room. We took down the named and one defender and while we were killing last defender someone looted the corpse and the defender de agroed and warped back to spawn point, then when we went to check the chest, he reagroed and we killed him. This mission isn't the easiest, high dps and chain pulls is really what's important, I didnt hear that the mobs hit terribly hard, I was able to keep the tank up with Reptile and not much else. It's important to keep moving and to stay ahead of the respawn, which i would say was 20-30 mins.

When you get the task update for 'Search for Warlock Therigal's quarters' and he goes to talk to the Scholar, Therigal will auto aggro the person closest to him.

The zonein to this task is in the center of the NW circular area of Stoneroor Falls. You enter the central mound from the west and will find a large set of doors immediately to your left, click on them to zone in to the mission.
