This group task is the second in a series of five (following "Find Fibblebrap 1: The Mines") and begins with Bellfast who is located in the southeastern part of Corathus Creep (vicinity of -710, +255).

You say, 'Hail, Bellfast'

Bellfast places the gem back into his mouth. 'There must be something more.' As Bellfast sees images invade his mind he vaguely makes out two drachnids guarding some type of hidden entrance to what appears to be a cave or a lair. 'The . . . the Hive?' Bellfast asks. 'What would the drachnid's want with Fibblebrap?! Please, _____, there must be another piece of poor Fibblebrap out there somewhere. Will you [help] me [search] for it?'

You say, 'I'll help you search for it'

Note: There are multiple versions of this task, depending on your group's average level. The only differences are the levels/difficulty of mobs and the quality of loot.

You have been assigned the task 'Find Fibblebrap 3: The Hive'.



Search for the hidden lair that Bellfast envisioned 0/1 (The Hive)

On zoning into the non-instanced Hive, your compass will point your way to the instance. It's the same instance as in "Lost Gnomes" and, due to the risk of see-invis mobs, many find it easiest to proceed there via the Living Bridges and up through the 3rd hive.

The mobs almost exclusively see invisible, have quite a large aggro range, do not summon, and do not respawn.

Search for Fibblebrap's Fibblebrap Fragment 0/1 (Living Larder)

Clear your way to the northwestern cavern in the instance, where you will find Foreman Zlixtil.

Foreman Zlixtil says 'I have heard great tales of the adventurers from above who have come to search for lost riches, power... And now here you are. If only you fools understood the power, the strength, behind which drives the life force of our kind.'

Defeat Foreman Zlixtil 0/1 (Living Larder)

Foreman Zlixtil says 'I take it I have something you want. If it were anyone else I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to say the gem. That gleam in your eye, perhaps. I've seen it once before.' as he grasps the gem tightly between his fangs.

Foreman Zlixtil says 'As I strike you down with my governing hand of death, you will only bring me that much closer to unlocking the elusive power behind the Fibblebrap gems.'

Foreman Zlixtil hits for a max ~1,100 and flurries.

Foreman Zlixtil quivers as cocooned spirits begin to unearth themselves in search of vengeance.

At this point the walls start shaking.

Foreman Zlixtil's corpse has the fear of death frozen in its countenance.

Can these be done with a mercenary at the appropriate level? I have a 58 Warrior at this time and some other toons I plan to bring up. I may be just repeating some other posted questions, but thats a lot to read at the moment as it is Independence Day her. I hope other people still look at this site! lol

Finally trying to wrap up my Werewolf Skull after 5+ years off.

Had no trouble soloing this as an 86/1200 Wizard (38K HP), with a J5 tank merc. The mobs didn't hit hard enough to be a big problem (when I was getting hit), but the merc did keep a few off of me which helped with not getting spells interrupted. No respawn made this a lot more leisurely than some of the other instances where mana could be a problem.

The zone in is marked as Queen Sendaii's Shrine on the maps, all the way west. You'll likely have to clear a few mobs to get there nomatter which way you go. Getting there was frankly harder and more annoying then completing the actual mission.

I was able to clear around the Foreman without aggroing him. The first time I engaged the Foreman he de-aggrod and returned to his spawn point at 100% health. The second time, I snared him and let him beat on the merc. Made sure aggro stayed on the merc, nuked him and killed him with no problems.

Steps are not good anymore.

Now, Zlixtil can and must be killed in Living Larder in NW section of the zone.
So everything after "When Foreman Zlixtil gets to 25 % health" in what is written on this page is not good anymore.
The gem fragment is inside a chest that spawns, in NW room, once Foreman Zlixtil is dead.
You will find additional loot in this chest too.
Foreman Zlixtil doesn't drop anything.

Now you only need to kill named in NW section of zone. Once he is dead loot the gem from a chest and done!! Don't waste time clearing SW room anymore!! Agro range for the whole zone seemed to be larger but still easy. GL!

Did this last night without reading here first.
We cleared the room south of the Foreman and the room south of there, expecting him to run down there. Once they were clear, we pulled foreman out to the cleared room just south of him. At about 85% health the room shook and he ran back to his spawn spot.

We pulled him 3 more times and at about 85% everytime, he ran back and reset. So we just cleared his room, then beat him down. Our tank remarked that he hit like a school girl, but our tank had over 4k ac. :)

Once he was down a chest popped with the bracer and Fibb's gem in it.

Group was 2.0 SK tank, 2.0 rogue, 1.5 ranger, 1.5 shammy and gimp boxed cleric.

I did this mission today. The aggro range is quite wide - 2 to 4 mobs were often pulled. darkblue at level 73, hit for 700 to 1k damage. Named is very easy and stunable. The mission ended when Named was killed in NW cave of the zone. At the top of the hill there is a chest withe the gem in, but bwaere spiders around. Just handin of gem to Bellfast for triggering Bellfast 4.

this quest ends after 3h....Questtimer shows 6h, but on remaining 3:15 you will get the Message: This quest ends in 15 min. The quest really ended then.... but...you can reenter the instance again with all mobs up.

Foreman Zlixtil no longer runs to the Coven of the Skinwalkers. When I did this yestarday we killed him down to 0% and he completely regened and ran back to his spawn point on the hill. At this point we had a ton of adds. I'm not sure if this was part of the event or if it was a present from our AFK bard.
We re-setup, re-engaged and killed Foreman Zlixtil and looted Fibblebrap's Gem from the chest completing the task. The task objectives listed in the task window were a bit misleading and should be updated by Sony to reflect the changes in the event.

Today we fought him near his hill after clearing his room (NW). He spawned a bunch of cocoons in his room during the fight, but they didn't open before we killed him. Chest popped on the hill at his spawn point and looting the gem fragment from the chest completed the mission.

The 2nd instance part of this mission has been eliminated, the whole mission is fought in Living Larder, no respawn.

Tried the mission yesterday, no luck, kept getting the strange magical blah blah message. Haven't seen any notes about a fix for Bellfast 3 so I'm guessing it's gonna be like the BiC aug and stay broken so ppl can't finish the mask.

there was a patch yesterday but i guess it wasn't a global patch; i hope they fix this mission in the future.

This mission will become active again after the next global update,
which I am told could be as early as early next week. Keep an eye on it in the patch notes and here on the forums. For those of you who have yet to complete this mission or intend on completing it again, keep your eye open for anything that seems... out of the ordinary. You may find it worth your while.

We attempted this mission three times tonight, 70 pally, 70 bst, 70 monk , 70 mage, 70 necro, 70 cleric. First time was a learning experience.. we zoned into the second half with only 30 minutes to spare. we lost because we lost the cleric, then we all tried the levi down thing by having the monk kite while we tried to take out named. regular mobs agro'd us and killed us off. that was the end of that.

Second try we did awesome, the time was still at just under 2 hours when we got to the named first time. he runs and we follow, we zone but we DONT zone. we end up 1000 Ft above the zone and we get raped by spiders. Somehow this mission gets bugged really bad. That was the best attempt and it fails because we repeatedly try to zone in with the same result of death.

Third attempt we were tired, groggy, and stuff just didn't get done as fast. we tried zoning in really fast and agroing the named, this worked, but he was un-killable, you have to let him go down to the bottom or you will have happen to you what happened to us. We had to zone out because we weren't denting him. cleric died, tank died, necro died, monk then died trying to get them all back to a safe spot to rez.

This is the worst 3 hours in the game. I want to personally shove a SoE officals head up their a&& for this mission. Who the Hekk puts a 3 hour limit on such a sweaty ballsack of a mission? We need at least 4 hours you stupid A*8raping Pigdogs. I can't believe we've tried this 3 times and it was almost perfect except for the fact that it's a bugged zone half the time. Bellfast 1 and 4 have nothing on this one. 3 has to be the worst hell i've experienced so far in DOD.. I shouldn't write that, some SoE a$$pig is probably getting OFF knowing that people hate this instance mission.

Two nights in a row I attempted this task and each time after defeating Foreman for the first time and he'd run we would go to click on door to second instance and it would warp us to above the map. The first night 3 of us eventually zoned in. And the second night we tried over and over and it would not let any of us in.
Also it would not let us zone out of instance from where we zoned in.
Has this been happening to anyone else?

Just did this, we were able to kill him before he got to 'zone out'. Foreman dropped Glowgem and Blackfire. Was hoping he'd have the gem too so we wouldn't have to do skinwalkers, but he didn't. :P

Necro went down before the rest of us and aggroed what seemed like 40+ mobs and named. Nothing summoned so ran around in large circles 'kiting' this massive train while necro regened (was smacked down to 1%) kept picking at named until he regened to about 55%, then necro was able to DoT the punk to death for victory. It was an amazing thing to see.

Actually -- when I did this one, the zone is in the same place and has the same layout as Living Larder, but it is actually called The Cocoon.

Also -- related quests should include Find Fibbblebrap 1: The Mines, FInd Fibblebrap 2: Lost Caverns, Find Fibblebrap 4: The Korlach and Find Fibblebrap 5: The Rescue.

any help on fibblebrap #1 tryed to do this one last night we used the whole 6 hour timer cleard the whole zone just about wiped a few times because of the horrable agro range thay have kill the alfa guy got the meat talked to the npc in the back room he gave us one part of the mission thats need but couldent figor out how to get the last part any info you could give would be great

Well twice now I've lost this mission cause someone in group wanted to swap characters before final looting. It seems to lock up and crash the zone, removing everyone from mission. So do so at your own risk.Each time we were down inside our final 15 mins. Keep focused on your task, kill only what needs to be killed, or one CR and you won't finish.

Biggest note is it's a 3 hours task, rather than your normal 6 hours task. And it takes place over 2 zones. I usually go in for the win if I get coerced into it. A pull class, Chanter, Cleric, myself (13.6k Paladin) and 2 DPS (Mage with Burning Aura [DoD DS proc] VERY HANDY here).

We more or less clear the south and west parts of the first, room, move into the west room, kill everything South, then north around the named, then attack the named till he runs. Then just go zone into the second instance. In there, if you have invis and Lev, a well timed insertion over the edge of the first bridge, and back up, it can put you at the bottom of all the ramps, where you only have to deal with 1-2 wanderers, then clear around the pillar, then kill the named. Even then, I've found I'm left with about 10 minutes!

Maybe I just suck :\

I've done this one 3 times and it's a long mission. Failed 1 and succeeded 2 times.

1) The respawn is very slow (or none at all) so if you wipe you can run back and pick up where you left off. Its a pain but its better than starting over.

2) You can enter the room where the named is. If you get near him it will trigger the script and he will become active but he wont aggro immediately. However if you aggro him at this point he will attack. I simply pulled the room without aggroing him until it was mostly clear. Then the rest of the group moved into room at the base of the entrance. Then I pulled him.

BTW I believe he's tethered so you can't pull him out of the room far. So just fight him at the entrance to the room at the base of the tunnel entrance.

3) When he runs off just let him run. Dont follow. Med, buff, then fight and clear to the southern zone out.

4) Like the previous post says, you can lev down with invis to save a bunch of time. Everyone needs to lev down at the same time. This is important. Someone will get aggro and all 6 ppl need to be ready to fight. If you go 1-by-1 you will die 1-by-1.
