Cragbeast Queen: Lizardscale Plated Girdle

Larsaki may be found in the Wayfarers camp in Natimbi at -677, -1595, +249, next to Magus Releua under a tent. The Cragbeast Queen spawns at the top of the hill in Natimbi at around 12 AM gametime and despawns at around 2 AM. She requires a raid force to kill, and drops various minor items, including Scales of the Cragbeast Queen, Glowing Bile Drenched Jewel, Phosphorescent Bile, and Misshapen Cragbeast Flesh.
You say, 'Hail, Larsaki' Larsaki smiles and extends her arm to welcome you. 'Pleased to have you in our quaint makeshift camp, ______. Stay as long as you like. The Wayfarers always seem busy, but there's not much for me to do here other than work on my [weaving].' You say, 'What weaving?' Larsaki nods. 'Yes. You may have heard of my skill. Among my tribe I was an expert seamstress, the most talented seamstress that has existed for generations. While I can work with a variety of materials, my forte lies in weaving the scales from cragbeasts into decorative attire.' If you have Scales of the Cragbeast Queen in your inventory, you get this response instead after hailing her: Larsaki yelps with surprise as she notices the bundle of scales you carry. 'How? Where did you acquire those ancient cragbeast scales? As long as I've lived in Taelosia I've never seen any so enormous. The beast must have been several centuries old!' She pauses a moment to regain her composure, 'It would be my honor to fashion those scales into something more practical for you. They are intact enough to create a scale plated belt. All I need are the remaining raw [materials].' You say, 'What materials?' Larsaki hands you a compact box. 'Splendid. This is what will be required of you, ______. Bring me the raw materials necessary to forge the belt. Combine them in this container and then return the box to me. The work will require three Polished Stonemite Shells, a pair of Untainted Spectral Essences, and the Cragbeast Queen's Scales.' You receive Larsaki's Empty Box, a 6-slot GIANT container. The Polished Stonemite Shells drop from stonemites in Vxed and Tipt (you need 3). The Untainted Spectral Essences drop from spirits in Uqua. The Scales drop from the Cragbeast Queen herself. Combine the ingredients in the box to craft Larsaki's Box of Raw Materials. Give this to Larsaki. Larsaki bows slightly and hands you a hefty belt. 'This is my finest work, ______. Wear it with pride and know that it was my distinct honor to assist you in this fashion.' You gain experience!! You need 3 stonemite shells, this isn't in the quest, nor is it in the top comments. Should really be added.

It clearly states in the walkthrough that you need 3 stonemite shells. I know it's been this way for at least 3-4 years, so I suspect that you just need to play closer attention...

confirmed .. did the turn in yesterday on tunare/7th hammer at lvl 95 ... got the ghost parts and the stonemite shells from vxed as well
Even though the stonemite scales and spectral essence are supposed to be a 4% drop rate in Vxed, I managed to get all I needed in about two hours worth of clears. As others have posted, just clearing up to the beludus and back provided lots of stonemites to kill.
i just learned that you MUST have the scales from the cragbeast queen in your possession befor eshe will give you the box. wonder why no one ever mentioned that one?

I think that pretty much says you have to have the scale before she will give you the box. Several NPC's are like this in EQ and you have to have something to get the dialogue to get the phrase you need to get something from them, or you have to go through their entire dialogue instead of just saying a word or phrase you looked up on the internet.
My ranger is 78 and has collected her shells and her essences. however each time i have tried to get the quest for her i get the reply "hmm, i see no need for you to collect weaving materials. Not without having something tangible to work with first." so what does she want? what tangible thing do i need?

You have to combine the items in the container you get from Larsaki, then give the result back.

Did this on my 95 ranger, no sneak, no shroud, no problem. Handed her the box of materials and she handed me back the belt.

I never played durring the Dodh era so im not sure how shrouds work. How does one get the completed box of raw materials to your shroud?

Got the shells (x3) and the essences (x2) by running through the Vxed expedition (~15 times)
Enter Vxed... take far right path, follow up and around to the top, north spot, where 8 or 9 of the ghosts spawn. Kill those, then run all the way south, pretty much make a figure 8 through the 4 main paths and you'll get an average of 5 to 10 stonemites and ~9 ghosts.
... forgot to mention, just run through and then drop expedition, zone out and snag a new one. took me 7 or 8 min for each run, faster than waiting for respawns

quest says max level of 85, i tried to do at 90, it did not work. petitioned, and GM told me needed to be 85 max.
so i shrouded down to 70, tried again, did not work.
i used rogue shroud, opened trade, and handed in, and i got my belt.
... just a tip to save some time, didnt see it mentioned anywhere else on zam,
shroud to 70 rogue, sneak, turn in = belt

The spirits in Uqua have a greater chance of dropping the Untainted Spectral Essence than in Vxed. Get the Shells in Vxed and get the Essence in Uqua.

How do I get to Tipt or Vexed from Barindu Hanging gardens pls. I can't seem to figure way thru blocked passage.
Hail the NPC, at the N edge of the front of the cave to the blocked path, and get an expedition from her.

Confirmed that everything drops in Vxed. The ghosts are the easy part as they're all grouped together. I killed roughly 200 stonemites before getting all 3, and they're spread out all over the place.
Cragbeast was actually the easiest part of this for me. Duo'd with an 85 SK and 85 Cleric. Gear is about 80% T5, 20% low-end SoD raid stuff.

So far after about 20 hours of killing in Vxed ive been able to acquire 2 of the polished stonemite shells so i can confirm those drop in vxed . As for the undead ive yet to see an essence drop in Vxed but its listed as dropping there so im guessing im just unluckier on that drop ill update if i do loot one there. These quest items are a bit ridiculous in drop rate but the clicky is one of the best so im going to force myself on this one.
The ghosts in Vxed drop the essence, they aren't very rare, usually see one at least every other spawn cycle. I just finished making my 3rd belt for alts, and I've probably spent less than 30 hours total in Vxed doing so. For what it's worth, I don't keep getting new instances after killing at the ent, I just make a huge loop around the entire zone and keep going.

I found both the spectral essences drop in Tipt in the ghost event. So far, no polished shells from Tipt or Vxed. I go through and clear one instance, drop and get another instance, respawns are faster that way. But, it looks like it'll be a couple months before I get 3 shells.... >_<
