One: At 1900 chips I got a message "Guard Kvovan turns his attention to the nobles, "Glad you folks could make it tonight. I trust you were treated well at dinner?"
The key here is obviously distraction. Look for this message then "Cash Out"
Also, I received 1900 Plat when cashing out.
Two: As stated well below in 2007 I think, neither guard is on the top of anything. The guard to pickpocket is in the back left corner of the graveyard. The guard to backstab is located in a north central building with two crazy bat-wolf looking creatures in the couryard. Enter the main door, turn left and run through a wall. Sneak/Hide and use Assassin's Strike or similar. Hit him for over 60k no issues. Now you have both keys, Origin back to PoK, take the stone to Shar Vahl. Open the second left door and receive a message about the key fitting perfectly. Go back to the first cell and give the key to any of the three "a prisoner". I hailed them all and they all gave me the starting dialogue for the quest. Once you've given "a prisoner" the key, he turns into the named and the task is completed.

This flags you to start the quest for the epic 1.5 if you do not have Ragebringer (rogue epic 1.0).
Find "a shady Highpass citizen" at -95, +425 in Highpass Hold. You need to talk to him; say "one," "two," or "three" to him; and purchase the Gold-Leafed Urn he has for sale for approximately 2099 pp. One This task has you gamble away the urn in Highpass Keep at the tables. Go to Dealer Maeline near the guards/nobles (/loc?) and give him the urn. Say "deal me a hand" until you get 2000 coins, at which point Guard Kovan turns his attention and emotes about nobles. Cash out. You have unloaded the stolen urn, completing the first task for the Smuggler's Camp. (Need all dialogues and emotes.). Two This task has you search for Nichols. Go to the prison area near the warrior guild in Shar Vahl, location 100, -545, -236. Talk to "a prisoner" in the cells there. You say, 'Hail, a prisoner' a prisoner leans forward and whispers. Psst, you'll never get the guards here to budge, they dont make deals, don't take bribes and they are much to careful to catch by suprise. If you promise to help me, I will tell you [where to find the keys].' You say, 'Where do I find the keys?' A prisoner nods and continues to whisper, 'Before we were brought to these cells, we were held in Katta briefly. I bet you'd find a keys to these blasted cages and another key to our shackles there, and the best part is the guards are much more careless. . . Are you with me? [Do you understand]?' You say, 'I understand.' a prisoner says 'Lift the keys, kill them, whatever. I dont care. Just do it quickly and do it quietly. Don't know how much longer before they move us to a new location. This may be our only chance to escape.' Need actual dialogues. These are transcriptions. Next, head to Katta, where you will find two guards at the TOP level. Guard Lennon is in the western building at the very top (at -540, -1760), and Guard Zimmer is in the graveyard/mansion to the southeast at the very top, at +295, -820, +2. Guard Zimmer sees through SoS. Sneak in through a hidden wall in the building and backstab him (you will kill him in one hit). Loot a Rough-hewn Shackle Key. Pickpocket Guard Lennon to get the Shar Vahl Cell Key, which is TEMPORARY and which identifies as "This key might open the cells in Shar Vahl." Head back to Shar Vahl. Make your way to "a prisoner" (/loc? are there two different versions of "a prisoner?") by unlocking the cell door with the Shar Vahl Cell Key. Hand the prisoner the Rough-hewn Shackle Key and he will turn into Nichols. You have freed Nichols, completing the second task of the Smuggler's Camp. You gain experience!! (Need all dialogues, locations, faction hits, etc.) Three Follow the dialogue and get a Sealed Silver Package. Head to Qeynos. No matter how you zone in, you will be placed in the same spot in the northeast part of the zone. You need to sneak into Crow's Tavern in North Qeynos. Hang out in the corner near the Priest of Discord and learn the guards' movements. Guards include Elite Guard Lika, Elite Guard Sarve, Elite Guard Inski, and Elite Guard Lewot. Sneak inside (look out for the Lewot inside). Use the door that leads to the hidden wall to go to the hidden rogue guild, and hide there until the guards path past. Once a guard is near the door standing still, give the package to Crow. You have completed this task. You have smuggled the mysterious package into Qeynos, completing the third task for the Smuggler's Camp. (Need all dialogues, names of guards involved, locations, etc.) Finale Head back to the shady highpass citizen and say "done." If you have not yet done your epic 1.0, he will shake your hand and welcome you to the Circle of Unseen Hands a la Stanos. Three: Elite guards see though Sneak/Hide but not a huge aggro range. Crow is at the bar loc +90, +258. +2. Wait for guard inside to pat to door, handed in. Guards became non KOS once I gave Crow the box. However, if you were hated by them before I'm sure you'll still be.

Dealer Maeline is at loc neg 98, neg 330 1 floor up in Highhold Keep, Kings Court. The info on dialogue is slightly incorrect, which cost me 2100pp to find out.

It's as if you would let in any old thing off the street!" For me, this happened at 1800 coins. I made the mistake of asking for one more hand as I presumed I also had to be at 2000 coins and ended up in the Highhold Keep prison and I lost the urn.
So get that message and then say "Cash out" to the dealer regardless of how many coins you are at.

Just followed your instructions, 1800 in chips and message "Yes, but some of your other patrons have a most unsettling look about them. It's as if you would let in any old thing off the street!" and ended up in jail. Item is not for sale right now. Moving on to part two and will get back to this.

So here is my attempt at a running guide for the Rogue 1.5 Pre-Quest with only much needed information.
Task 1 : You need to watch specifically for the message about Guard Kozan turning to a noble and asking them if they were treated well at dinner. It happened at 1900 both times I did it. Yes I failed it the first time trying to go to 2000 as the guide above states.
Task 2 : Lennon is in the Graveyard, if yer like me, and have no Pick pocket skill, get a couple of 90 friends and prepare for a 10mil health battle, thats what it parsed at least, not sure if its regen based, but we had 90 Warrior/Cleric Merc and a 90 Zerker (My main) burning on him for the greater part of 20 minutes . . So I am gunna guess its a mix of both.
Zimmer is in the building just SE of the Tenebrous Mountains zoneline. When you walk into the building, immediately turn to your left (South) and run into the wall between the torches, and Sneak/Hide Backstab (I used Kyv Strike to make sure I hit) and BTW -- Its funny to backstab something for 112413 dmg.
After those 2, head back to Shar Vahl (I skipped the intro part, just went for the items) I will note that I took the portal from PoK, from zone in, just tracked the Warrior Guildmaster, when yer running into the building its located in, instead of turning right to go down the stairs, go left, and you will be at the cell block. The person you talk to is in the first cell on the left, but when you have the Keys, you need to unlock the 2nd door on the left, to spawn the prisoner who turns into Nichols.
Task 3 : Okay, so I was a little confused here, I am a Halfling, Agnostic, everything in Qeynos regarded me as an Ally, I just walked in, and turn the box in, no sneaking necessary, got completion, and zoned back out.

I just finished this quest with my lvl 74 rogue.It was a little frustating when the keys disappeared but no biggie.I pick pocketed Lennon with a 74 pick pocket skill.Do it slowly,waiting a few minutes after each time and make sure to hide right after each try.Have a mage Coth you to Crow in Qeynos.I two boxed my hubby's mage and it worked great.Cothed as soon as the Elite guard walked away.He didn't even attack after turn in,I stayed hid and just used a gate potion.If any rogues need help on Tunare server,just give my rogue Braizzle a shout.I've got npc's marked on my map and can walk ya through it.Hope everyone else has as much luck as I did!

Don't bother with this prequest. The people who wrote this up are tards. You will be much better off just doing the epic 1.0 or maybe just slice your wrists and get it over with than to bother with this bug ridden quest and this inaccurate sorry excuse for a quest write up. Allakhazzam shames itself by even having this page on their site.

When you do the 2nd part of this you have to free Nicholas. I had a problem with the keys from the event vanishing on me randomly. (They may have a timer). The guy is inside the warriors guild on the bottom floor, you'll see a guard standing there down in the right area. When I went down there was a room with 3 a prisoners in it. Speak with one of them to get your response. However, when you get the keys that is not the correct cell. Its actually the cell to the right of that one that appears empty. Open that cell with the key and it says "You try the Cell Key on the lock and it's a perfect fit." Then you can hand the key into that prisoner, he turns into Nicholas and you get the update. Hope this helps! :)

A shady Highpass citizen holds up a small but ornate urn. 'I have a trinket here that appears to be quite valuable. As you may have guessed, it was not obtained legally which, in and of itself usually isn't a problem. However, the previous owner happens to be a wealthy and influential nobleman who happens to have offered a sizable reward for its return. The reward is even higher should the mercenaries bring back heads of the perpetrators. Who would have known the ashes of the old codger's ancestors would mean so much to him? Now, I'm the type that likes to keep his head on his shoulders. We need to get rid of this, and soon, but we're not willing to write it off as a loss. You look like you could play the 'trustworthy' type. Why don't you buy the urn from me and take it to the Keep Casino. Trade it in for chips. Play a few games, cash in early and walk away with the money. Everybody wins. Act casual. Don't give yourself away.

For the Nichols part... unlock the door with nobody inside it... a prisoner will spawn... different cell then where you talk to a prisoner to get instructions on where keys are... then hand the other key in to get it to turn into Nichols.

just finished this was a piece of cake guards in Qeynos did see through sos but were not kos ran all the way to crow had a friend wait outside door to tell me when to hand it in. guards did nothing at all.

1. Both Guards in Katta are on the ground lvl not the TOP lvl as posted. Also if your looking in any building for Lennon your wrong, he is in the graveyard where the gargoyle building is to the left kneeling down by a grave.
2. When doing part 3, IF YOU DO DIE you must return back to the shady highpass citizen and get your box to hand back to Crow again. The Elite Guards will eat your turn in when they kill you. *Note* The guards will kill you within 1-2 hits. 8k a hit depending on your aa's/lvl/gear.
3. I got a CoTH straight into the room with Crow, my mage waited till he pathed to the door CoTH'ed me and i spun around and handed in followed by a Gate Potion for a quick evac.

Ok, just completed the Third Task, where you have to give Crow a package but have to get past Elite guards that see through SoS.
Well, here is how I did it. First of all you will have to be level 60+. This is a must. 2nd, get a mage that can cast Call of Heroes. Third, go to spiritshroud keepers and turn into a lvl 60+ earth elemental Fighter. Don't worry about setting up AAs. All you need to do is set up Hotkey for Monster Ability Plane Shift: Ethereal. This make you invunerable for 30 seconds.
Now with the package zone into North Qeynos with mage. Have mage go to Crow's bar and through the secret door in back left room. Have him go partly down the stairs and then have him cast Call of Heroes.
Now before you go all the way up the stairs, because the elite guards can see through the secret door, activate Plane Shift: Ethereal. Run to Crow, give him the box, once you get the message that completes the task, Run to South Qeynos zone behind the building you are in.
And there you have it

You can cash out before 2000 coins. It just have to be after he emotes about the nobles. For me that was at 1900.

If you fail quest number 1 the shady citizen has to respawn before he gives you another chance to buy the urn as he only has one in stock... and I've failed 3 times so I'm not a very happy camper... So don't fail.. and if you do, take a break before you try and get one again; or you'll be sitting there for quite awhile cursing at him to give you the urn again.

I just attempted this and i thought it was worth mentioning that at 158 PP skill i got the key from the guard.
The trick to Guard Zimmer is to use your sneak attack, which guarantees a Backstab.
Now my question is about Guard Lennon. What skill level do you need to Pick Pocket him? I have a skill of 220 and nothing after about 40 tries.
Update: Finally was succeful pickpocketing Guard Lennon with a skill level of 242, and even then it took awhile.
The prisoner you do the turn in for Part 2 in Shar Vahl:
I just did this and the prisoner is not visible until you open the cell door. However, he is located in the far left cell as you come down the stairs. Once the door is open, the prisoner will appear and you just hand him the rough hewn shackle key.

Everytime you die, you have to go back to the shady citizen in HHP and get the package. I guess the guards loot it when they kill you. So try not to die.

I'm guessing its a stroke of luck if you kill Guard Zimmer with one backstab. Maybe they should update that part.
I finally found him with my rogue, came up behind him and BS'ed, well tried to. He hit me for 9k killing me. I guess IF you hit him, you will kill hit with one hit. That is kind of different from You WILL kill him with one hit.

the prisoner (Nichols) is no longer in the bazaar. he's been moved to Shar Vahl, to the prison area (good place for a prisoner) near the warrior guild. sorry, but i dont have a loc atm.

Whats the point of this? is this merely for faction or what? I not see a reward and don't see the need for doing this or this is soe's idea of giving of rogues more stuff to do?
I've already done my 1.0 and my faction is kindly in high keep and all major epic npc's. All the npc's involved in 1.5/2.0 talk to me nicely. lol
I was kos before I started my epic. but then I did a faction quest I found in north qeynos. The funny thing is, you dont even have to complete it.
You go to the first npc and get cards and hand them to the second npc over and over. I actually was handing 8 bags of cards at a time in to him.
You just say the phrase "What is the shipment?" to
Knargon Lanenda in North Qeynos over and over again till you fill your bags with Bent Playing Card, then go outside gates to a delf who only spawns at night named Jracol Brestiage. Since you're a rogue, you can be
kos to this guy and still hand in from behind.

I've already done my 1.0 and my faction is kindly in high keep and all major epic npc's. All the npc's involved in 1.5/2.0 talk to me nicely. lol
I was kos before I started my epic. but then I did a faction quest I found in north qeynos. The funny thing is, you dont even have to complete it.
You go to the first npc and get cards and hand them to the second npc over and over. I actually was handing 8 bags of cards at a time in to him.
You just say the phrase "What is the shipment?" to
Knargon Lanenda in North Qeynos over and over again till you fill your bags with Bent Playing Card, then go outside gates to a delf who only spawns at night named Jracol Brestiage. Since you're a rogue, you can be
kos to this guy and still hand in from behind.

this is for people who havent finished the rogue epic for whatever reason...like i never finished mine because i couldnt get people for the general fight.. did this and now have 1.5.. has nothing to do with faction at all

Ok, I looked over hell and half of Georgia for Zimmer and Lennon and could not find them anywhere. I'm 99% sure I was even in the right buildings. Are they on a spawn timer or maybe somewhere hidden?
Both locations in previous post were right. Guard Lennon is in a small graveyard and guard Zimmer is behind a glass in a small room. You need to enter in the building and go thru a fake wall

Lennon is on a spawn timer i believe. Either that or running around the Graveyard will trigger him, since there were a few emotes I noticed. The loc is right. If he isn't there then he will be. He kneels at the grave. just pick pocket him. Simple.

When you zone in Qeynos with the box in your inventory, you will warp on NE corner of the map and elite guards will pop. They see thru SoS and will charge you on sight. They hit for 8-11k and should kill you in 1 single blow so you don't want any aggro. There is guards inside and outside the city. They will con ready to attack to you only , all others will be ally.
Get someone to assist you on this task. Pull all the guards outside and kite them around while the rogue sneaks in and hand the box to Crow.

You can get the " Box " from a Shady Highpass Citizen by telling him " Three ".

Is there more than one possible cell key? The cell I found it opens does not have the right prisoner in it. And the other prisoners cell door won't open.

Be sure to have high pick pocket skills to get your key from guard Lennon as he will kill you in 1 shot if you don't. Slashes for 9k ;)

I had the same problem with the keys, so I decided to look in other cells....thers a cell down a bit with one prisoner in it..a human..I clicked on the door and it opened....using the key I had picked from Katta..handed the prisoner the other key...and bingo, he turned into Nichols. XP msg..time to go back to Highpass.
ah i see ty, now to send in a bug report about all the prisoners saying the same thing.
I have completed all the tasks except the 2nd one now, I have pics of Guard Zimmer, and Guard Lennon and the keys they drop. I accidently killed guard zimmer before taking the pic so I may go back and see if I can get another. the loc of Guard Lennon is -541, -1761, the loc of Guard Zimmer is 297, -816,

Nichols has been moved to the shar vahl prison thats inside the arena, he is located in an empty cell. a prisoner spawned in the empty cell after I used the cell key.

A prisoner nods and continues to whisper, 'Before we were brought to these cells, we were held in Katta briefly. I bet you'd find a keys to these blasted cages and another key to our shackles there, and the best part is the guards are much more careless. . . Are you with me? [Do you understand]?

a prisoner says 'Lift the keys, kill them, whatever. I dont care. Just do it quickly and do it quietly. Don't know how much longer before they move us to a new location. This may be our only chance to escape.

Gold-Leafed Urn is the name.. Sold for 2099 pp's
Elite Guard Lika, Elite Guard Sarve, Elite Guard Inski, Elite Guard Vaughn, Elite Guard Lewot there were some other elite guards but i didnt get there names down. The first 4 guards wander around Crows building and Elite Guard Lewot wanders around inside crows
