hail Strandar Pinemist

Strandar: Greetings, young one. Are you a [child of the trees]?

I am a child of the trees

Strandar: Then you are welcome in my pressence. I shall call forth some loyal children if you but speak the name. Will or Fenalla will serve you well.

I choose Fenalla

Strandar: Please read this tome. It will explain what Fenalla Moonshadow can assist you with. When you are finished, please return this to me. We have but a single copy of such tome in the world, for which a tree gave its life.

<give tome to Strandar>

Strandar: Welcome, Fenalla Moonshadow

Fenalla: I am Fenalla. How may I serve?

hail Fenalla Moonshadow

Fenalla: We are children of the trees, friends and protectors of nature. We are brothers and sisters to the wolves and bears. The call of the Great Pine has filled your heart and led you here to be tested.

Give Fenalla <Efreeti Scimitar, Fire Sky Ruby (red gem), Lush Nectar, Storm Sky Opal>

Fenalla: I am honored to know one such as you, __________. I beg you to wield Espri with as much grace you have shown during the travails to obtain it.

If possible, can you post logs (timestamps are fine) or email them to eqteam@allakhazam.com? Thanks in advance.

Druids cannot even try to mellee at higher lvls. OR else you will be stunned (unable to cast) And killed very quickly.

Ok, for all of you who have said that druids dont melee, cant melee, shouldnt melee, I agree. But I melee. I buff myself with everything I have, throw on a DS, and let them beat on me while I cast, because dark elves are VERY resistant and sometimes its easier to heal myself then try and kill off a tank with my limited mana. Im only level 30, and I know this will **** you all off, but this is how I choose to play when Im not in a group killing giants in FM. So, to all of you who dont want your scimitar, please, show a little love to your fellow druid in need and give me what you dont want. You know how hard it is to get plats for these things, and I would love to have one. Thank you,

Well, at lvl 30, yes, druids do a lot of melee-ing. But when they get higher, and get those oh so wonderful DoTs, you find yourself only melee-ing to finish a mob off because you don't want to waste the mana to blast them one last time. BUT, it is nice to have a weapon on hand, with good stats (preferably wis ;> ) just in case you find yourself oom or whatever.

#Anonymous, Posted: May 18 2001 at 1:55 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well i like to say something about courtsey. HAlf the population in EQ is people haven't gotten through puberity yet, and to have them act as a respectable adult.. your asking for a miracle. Oh well that's my 2cp... and if you think i am gonna sit there in Sky waiting for a mob.. your out of luck.. Bye now
#Anonymous, Posted: May 09 2001 at 5:51 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Umm.....however posted that the minimum level for this quest is 45 is an idiot. The quest takes place at least somewhat in the planes (dont know where all the pieces are gotten from), but the quest giver is in plane of sky. Now, i may be wrong, but last time i checked the planes could only be entered at level 46+, meaning it would be impossible for a lvl 45 person to even GET this quest.

#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 12 2000 at 2:43 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I think I can speak for everyone on this topic. Please people when you know that someone has been camping for a long time, don't pester them about when they are going to leave. Don't sit down next to them to "wait" until they are done. You might be waiting a long time and then the time it takes for you to complete your camp on top of that. The NPC will always respawn and will always be there. Just ask them kindly if they will send you a tell when they are done and 9 times out of 10 they will. These players are tired from camping that long of a period and quite understandably a little grouchy and become extremely nervous at the thought of someone possibly stealing their kill. So, be courteous.
